Tadoba National Park is an abode of flora and fauna. A must see for every wildlife buff. There is surprise waiting for you at every nook and corner. And, you might even have a date with the royal one in his/her royal paradise. We had a close encounter with the tigress, who literally posed for us for more than 15... More

The trip TADOBA National Park was awesome and certainly one of the most memorable trips that I have had. Not only did we get to see most of the animals present in the park (including the elusive wild dog & the asian paradise bird) but we also had a very close encounter with a leopard within the premises at Tigers'... First of all I would thank the Forest Department Officials who definitely have put in an effort to maintain an excellent quality forest both in terms of Flora and Fauna! Even though people claim its a small park compared to others, its like stealing the glory away from this wonderful park, and am proud its in Maharashtra. Its not just... More

I recently made a booking for Tadoba National Park through MP Tiger Safari Tours & Travels. They were extremely helpful and made excellent arrangements for my trip - right from the time the plane landed at Nagpur airport. Ms Shweta from their Mumbai office had made all the online bookings for the safaris and the hotel arrangements at Irai Resort.... More

This Tiger Reserve is supposedly having the maximum Tiger Population in our country. To do the census they still use the orthodox way of getting on top of a Machan and keep counting tigers passing by. I counted 8 at one time but it is difficult to stay on the Machan for the whole night alone even though you are... More

Was surprised at the density of habitat and wondered how would ever see a tiger. Initiated into the art of trackers, listening for alarm calls. each jeep has a local guide which is good for involving locals and providing income. There was poor interface with guests, no English, and sometimes you could be forgiven for thinking some of them were... More

Three of the four safaris we saw tigers! I had been to four other tiger reserves (Periyar, Nagarhole, Ramthambore and Corbett) with no tigers. Tadoba you are almost assured to see tigers. Very small park - just 625 square kilometers. Compare that to Yellowstone in the US - 3,400 square miles (over 9,000 square kilometers). Last census over 50 tigers.... More
