Three of the four safaris we saw tigers! I had been to four other tiger reserves (Periyar, Nagarhole, Ramthambore and Corbett) with no tigers. Tadoba you are almost assured to see tigers. Very small park - just 625 square kilometers. Compare that to Yellowstone in the US - 3,400 square miles (over 9,000 square kilometers). Last census over 50 tigers.... More

We were lucky enough that everytime we visited this park we could witness tigers roaming around and drinking water. be in early morning or noon or evening. This park is part of the forest hence which makes it equally thrilling to be in such a place. Besides eating local food makes it a memorable experience.

Myself along with my family and two of my friends and their family visited Tadoba between the 1st of March till 6th of March 2014. Like many other families, we too were anticipating with bated breadth to see the striped giant. We stayed at the Tiger Resort for one night..we landed on the afternoon of the 1st and we went... After a disappointing experience at Ranthambore we visited Tadoba a day later. What a wonderful experience. On the first safari itself we saw Tigers. On a day we could not have a safari a visit to the buffer zone was also a delight. It started with the Bear early morning. Later we had a very close view of a fully... More

Don't just go to look for tigers. We were fortunate in having a very good sighting of a huge male tiger going to a pool to drink, but there is so much else - a wide variety of birds (raptors, water birds), mongoose, deer, nilghai. People who were obsessed with just tigers had some jeep rides which were for them... More

If you want to see tigers, this is THE place! We took 5 jeep safaris at morning and afternoons, and saw tigers in each and every trip. Often more than once. They were very close by, were resting, bathing, chasing deers etc. We went in Dec. No babies. Also saw leopards (tougher), sloth bear, wild dogs, bisons, sambar deers, spotted... More

Well, if you want to see Tigers, crocodile and enjoy not so much a dense forest. THis is great. Not much to do around in this area. A few hotels that are expensive. The jeeps are very old so the ride is not comfortable. Please read about the forest conditions as it not as pleasant as one would expect in... More

My father in law, who lives in Nagpur, suggested we go to Tadoba, and he made a brilliant choice. We only had time for one safari, the afternoon one, and we got to see a tiger lounging around one of the water holes, and a lot of other things too. The guides were very knowledgable, and they took us all... More
