Although this place is not as well-known as hill stations like Mahabaleshwar or Panchgani, the very fact that the highest peak in the State is close by in itself will attract enough tourists. The places is too inside from the highway and also some part of the roads are bad.The place is very good, but only if u visit after a good shower of Rains.I visited in first week of july, but to my disappointment, it hadn't rained since the past week.So we could not get a chance for bathing in the waterfalls.We... as we stay in nashik, we do visit bhandardara almost every monsoon. the right time to visit is in august/sept when the dam is overflowing on the road. cross the main dam site and keep going towards randha falls. just round the corner you will see two small gates made to control the flow from the dam. next to that... best time to travel is in rainy season, best to nature around and it has many attraction excursion around it. Bhandardhara the hill station with lakes and waterfalls. Amazing place for all the nature lovers especially during the monsoons.

Stayed at Anandvan Resorts ( 1- 3 Jul 2015) .Infact my second visit to this property.Still well-maintained and amazingly beautiful.The resort has only cottages which are really cozy with a private lawn. Amazing place for all the nature lovers especially during the monsoons. The place is still away from the getting commercialized completely. There are only 2 resorts and ver few eateries. But for all the adventure freaks this is amazing for some solo camping near the banks of the arthur lake. Check out the pics

it was an awesome trip to this place. the Ideal time to visit is in the rainy season - either a week or 2 after the rains start or a week after the rains stop so that you can enjoy the beauty of the nature. the place is very windy and often you'll find the place to be very cool.... More

Went with family last monsoon and stayed in the MTDC resort over there. The place is out of the world on a valley. Also do a guided tour in the nearby reserve forset

We visited in July 2014 .when we reach there so much raining.nature is beautiful dam and randha fall is too good.then we see waterfalls its like jungle safari.I like nature in this area is very good.water flow on road both side greenery its awesome.
