Went with family last monsoon and stayed in the MTDC resort over there. The place is out of the world on a valley. Also do a guided tour in the nearby reserve forset

This place is a treat in the monsoons. Bad road notwithstanding, theres a lot to see around. Bhandardara Lake and Dam, Randha Falls, the round trip around the lake where you can visit Ghatghar and Amruteshwar temple, eat at a villager's home. Stay options are limited Anandvan - Luxury, Yash - Mid range, MTDC - Low to Mid range, some... More

We started our bike ride at 9:30 am in the morning and we reached this place at 11.30 am . Although we took a lot of halts in between. It was a fun ride and I still remember the Shaba... More

An amazing escape from the hustle bustle of Mumbai. About 140km from mumbai this is undoubtedly a must go each year. Great deals on hotels and the drive from Mumbai is scenic and beautiful.

Bhandardara undoubtedly is the best weekend escape from Mumbai. The drive from Mumbai to Bhandardara is breathtaking with splendid views and lakes. Still unexplored, it's a very beautiful place surrounded by mountains and lakes. Lake Arthur is so serene and a boat ride will just make the trip even more amazing! Negatives- Unfortunately, there is only one accommodation option available,... More
