Visitors should be aware of the traditions that Kerala maintains in its temples. Although we went with traditional dress only, we were given hard time by security staff.

Have visited the temple many times, but am reviewing for the first. Love the holy ambience, especially when inside the sanctum sanctorum; for shich you have to take a long queue to enter. The pradakshinams outside are also very uplifting to the mind, with about 400 metres per round. Quite salubrious too, with the cool breeze even in the warmth... More

Earlier it was bit lenient in terms of clothing but now saree or suit is mandatory for girls and dhoti for men. If anyone doesn't have... More

this is a temple where you have to go in traditional dress, if you dont have one you can buy a set just outside the temple for about rs 70/-. on entering it is like a maze, but you get a great feeling of peace & nice vibes.

This is one of the most famous and riches temple in Kerala, India. The recently publicised riches are in locked vaults and public can not see them. For devotees this is one of the best religious place. Calm and serene. Love to visit time and gain to pray.
