It is the scientific centre situated at Thumba on out skirts of Trivandrum city. 30 min ride from city will take you to VSSC which is highly protected. It was this place that the Indian Space programme started, from a small church building.. A noble lesson for all of us that religion is for us to progress.. The church building is still intact (St Mary's church, if I remember correctly !).. And inside it, it also houses the Space Museum, which is a good place to visit if... More
