Visit the Museum if you are in trivandrum. Its part of the park and zoo together. Children will love it. A good picnic spot but not a very interesting place.

A very good collection of ancient statues, weapons and paintings. Ancient coins are also displayed. The royal chairs and other furnishings are also on display.A lot of effort has been put to arrange the gallery. Air-conditioning would have enhanced the experience.

Been to the museum while visiting the zoo (same compound), is worth visiting. We took only 45 - 60 minutes to see the whole museum. The museum has a collection of archaeological/historic artefacts, bronze idols, ancient ornaments, ivory carvings and also a big chariot. Family passes are available for 2 adults + 2 children (under 12) which costs Rs. 25

The Napier Museum was disappointing. The building is beautiful but very run down and in need of serious renovation. The exhibits are very poorly presented. There is another smaller museum near the entrance gate that covers the history of the Maharajas of Kerala. This is very interesting, well presented and worth a visit.

A good place to nostalgically look back at the good times of Trivandrum. A glimpse would take us back to the history of the area.

We spared sometime here. The building by itself is a wonder. The green lush open space surrounding make the look extreme. I didn't go inside the museum because but walking around the building was good enough.

An amazing place and a must see for all who visit Thiruvanathapuram. The paintings are extraordinary. The whole area is a great green lung in the heart of the city. The museum building and surrounding areas are worth spending a day

I had been to this place a number of times; the greenery and trees are awesome, and the grass fields give you enough comfort for a sleep. The place is well maintained, and gives a breath of fresh air in the city. The mandap has this peculiarity of echoing your claps when in middle. The zoo has got a lot... More

The building itself is an interesting piece of Architecture. The exhibits relating to the past is so ordinary and displayed in an uninspiring way. But it gives an insight to the history of Kerala.
