Had a great day wondering these parks, also a small zoo closeby and plenty of places to relax with ice cream!

The entrance for Trivandrum zoo and this museum is the same. First you would be visiting this museum and then the down side is the big Trivandrum zoo. The museum is small sized one and it has paintings, idols, ancient articles, etc. The outlook of the museum building is likeable. If you are not a history lover, then it may... More

If you compare with the Baroda museum this is very small in size, but the is impressive particularly for those interested in Raja Ravi varma's paintings. One will also have a macro view of Kerala s architectural tastes and customs .

This is annex to Trivandrum zoo. The museum houses rare collection of archaeological and historic artifacts, bronze idols, ancient ornaments, a temple chariot & small wooded boat-which my daughter liked a lot and off course-ivory carvings. Good one to be visited to understand old folk art of Tanjavur and Mughals.

It is not expensive, so if you go to the zoo, nice to visit this museum. It is very well preserved and some interesting artifacts. can be hot inside and no photo as well.

My wife is into religious artefacts, me, once I've seen one cosmic Shiva, I don't want to look at another. On the plus side it's dirt cheap, and takes only a few minutes. I enjoyed watching Indian bureaucracy in action, as you have to go to one window for your ticket then around to another door to get in. All... More

This has excellent collection of ivory carvings and a few wooden carvings too. Apart from them, some of the things in tis museum are replicas, which does take away a lot of their charm. Not a must visit for a tourist

We visited Napier park whilst killing time before a flight. The museums were are really cheap, 20 or 10 rupees . The main museum is based in a beautiful building and comprises mainly of some interesting statues and other works of art. well worth a look.the ticket also allows you into a smaller art gallery which is quite interesting as... Very cheap - 10 rupees. Good collection, but in many others museums same. Photography prohibited. We found book of Russian fairy tales in English with pictures.
