Not a great beach, though in peak season it is busy with tourists, vendors and stray dogs. There are many restaurants right in the beach, but most of them charge you more than what it is worth. More

As it is towering over Lighthouse and Hawah Beach, you can't miss it. Only open from 15:00 to 17:00 during the day. A Small fee of 10 Rupees per person and add 20 Rupees for taking photos. Quite a steep climb to the lighthouse and then another 150 steps to the top: impressive views from there over Kovalam and Vizhinjam.... More
