The only reason it lacks excellent is the lack of support from authorities for poor marketability. Otherwise this place is fantastic, even in summer of march end , there was evening rain and boating happening in the catchment areas .Lion safari park, crocodile park, A good aquarium & childrens park ...an age old watch tower but functional which gives a superb... this is a wonderful place with a lot of scope for improvement. In order to reach Lion Safari a short Boat ride can be enjoyed. Lion Safari is for a very short period but the main purpose of seeing Lions living in natural habitat is satisfied. Thereafter they take for Crocodile park, where few were kept for treatment and others... More

A peaceful place. Beautiful dam which offers a scenic view. There is a Lion Safari and a crocodile park as well. We were able to see 3 lions.

This is an appalling place, as an animal lover it left me feeling frustrated and upset. The crocodiles are kept in terrible conditions and although the lions are not in a small enclosure they certainly did not look healthy. It's a tourist trap not an wildlife sanctuary.

We were disappointed when he leart it is closed on mondays. The dam and walk around is relaxing when the weather is good,. Good aquarium and childrens play area. Don't miss to taste the pickled berries.

The so called safari consists of a noisy boat ride and then a bus ride where you will see two old and distressed lions, some deer behind fencing and crocodiles who are outside your view point. It was a waste of time and money. The best part was a quiet walkway through the jungle to the location of the dear... More

Neyyar is a good place to be once. but very much to be decided as a personal note. I did like the place for its cleanliness, the tiger (staged) park, crocodile park and the small catchment area. The boating is the only thing which might find equal likes among all for its usual feel good. However we did not get... More
