Had a great ride for 30 Minutes. There was a platform where you can sit on the elephant. there was one trainer along with each elephant. The trainer was only taking our photos with our camera.

One of the other pit stops was the elephant junction. Heavily crowded and the prices though governed but seemed expensive ~400 per person. After a long wait(rather we went back to our hotel, had some evening snacks and then came back) we mounted the elephant and she was named Maria. The walk was around a very small spice garden with... Places like this will always be divisive as there are always conflicting opinions about captive animals. You will never eliminate tourist activities such as these especially in very poor countries so I feel the key is to support the ones that do it well, and I felt Elephant Junction did. I felt the elephants were well cared for with a... More

This was my first ever ride on an elephant. As it was late in the afternoon I felt that the poor thing was bored and a little cranky as the handler had to keep on encouraging it to keep walking, when all it waned to do was poop and wee. We had several of those stops. A very gentle creature.... More

You will surely enjoy here. When we went it was little hot weather, but, when we returned from here, we were literally shivering. The elephant bath is really noticeable since, you might not get it many parts of India. We were thrilled by the elephant when both of us sat over it. It was little scary but enjoyable. Moreover, do... More

Read the other reviews but you would need to make your own mind up. My husband and I had a great time at Elephant Junction and from past experience with Indian & African Elephants, if the elephants did not like their environment I think they would be letting people know. We rode on our elephant and then watched as it... More

We went there with the hope that the elephant would be standing on a riverside and would be showering us with water. but after paying good 750 Rs per person just for elephant shower. We were taken in a place where an elephant was lying on the ground in a small pit, chained. The first activity is to clean the... More

If would like to have a experience of elephant ride once in life, then it's ok. They charges 350 for half hour, 1000 for one hour and 1500 for one and half hour. The basic 350 is advisable. Other packages are heavily charged, without any reason.

Great day, opted for full programme mainly because of elephant participation, which I arranged for my husband as a surprise. On the day we declined to take up the safari and spice tour, mainly because we had done something similar already and our host seem disappointed as we had paid for it but we decided to use this time to... This is a great place to go to ride Indian elephants through the tropical forest and watch them work or bathe. The activities offered are well organised, great value for money and most importantly, the elephants appear to be extremely well looked after. Highly recommended!
