The boat-ride is nice. You spot a few animals enroute...bamboo rafting is more fun though. Kids are not given a seat or a seatbelt which is weird. There is no set route and u wander through the huge lake spotting animals in the reserve. A good place for wildlife lovers. Its clean and mostly outta human interference which is good

The boat ride takes you through the river for a full 90 minutes. It passes through areas where wildlife is expected to come out for water. So you need a good amount of luck to have a satisfactory ride. A few points to note are 1. The first boat ride at 7:30AM has the best chance of spotting wildlife. 2.... More

A boat takes you on a 1 and a half hour trip around the lake for a chance to spot some wildlife. We saw some wild boars and bison as well as some birds. If you are lucky you will be able to see some elephants. If you are travelling with elderly folk, do be aware that vehicles are not... More

This place is seriously over rated.. Firstly I wonder why its called Tiger reserve when you cant even spot a tiger even remotely.. Coming to the lake, yes it serene, beautiful etc but 1.5 hour of boat ride is a serious waste of time and money..They charge around 150 per person, but more than the money 1.5 hour is too... More

The Lake was and the surrounding area's view was excellent. It was difficult to spot some of the animals though as it is a vast area. the entrance fee for foreigners are at INR 300.00 per head.

Before I get a chance to explain the good things happening here(trust me there are a lot), please keep in mind that you will be within a reserve forest. That translates to being in the home of elephants, tigers, wild boars, deers, birds like Great Cormorant etc. These animals are not circus trained and do not come by to put... More

Lake is good but that's it. Nothing else apart from that. When we entered the whole place looked bewutiful. But after taking ticket for lake ferry, it became very boring as the ferry kept on moving. Neither there were any guides nor they stopped at any place where we could get down and take some pictures or relax. They just... More

Although billed as a wildlife park, we saw very little from the boat as we sailed the lake, but it is lovely and very peaceful, there are animals in their natural habitat, with elephants as well, but anyone hoping to see Tigers may be better heading further North in India, but I would recommend it as a place to while...
