Kappad beach is generally very peaceful. You find average number of tourists in the evenings. The sunset looks wonderful from here.

A decent place for a day trip and quite relaxing.. Try to reach before sundown because the route might be confusing for new people.. However, the lack of eating options nearby may be a deterrent for a few..

Its usually filled with teen student or couples who come to spend a quite moment away from the city . Not that far from calicut city , but usually very empty . No good food joints nearby , A great place for beach football , bring a football along though :P

we went at about 12 noon, the beach is very clean but not a very happening place. there was not to do at all. Perfect for couples and people who look for a quiet isolated place.. but if you are looking for fun and thrill it is not the right beach for you.

The beach was pretty much deserted during our visit. We wanted to spend a quite moment on the beach with the sound of water lashing on the rocks and shore, the breeze etc. Unfortunately while doing so, some of the local hooligan fishermen (probably the kind of guys who can't even catch fish) came by and roughed us up. Please avoid. The entire town's sewer water drained in the sea. It's contaminated. Crowded. Not safe for woman.
