We arrived after heavy lunch @ Paragon. Thankfully, the patch of trees besides beach provided perfect place for elders for resting with its shade and cool breeze. Even the beach was not as dirty as we heard off, very good enough to spend at least an hour with family and friends, photo shooting.

Since I am a photographer I love visiting places like this where i can click photos of sunsets. Kappad is mentioned in history as the gateway to the Malabar Coast. It was here the Portuguese navigator Vasco da Gama sailed in and stepped into Kerala to create a new chapter in history on May 27, 1498. Nearest railway station is... More

This is exotic beach, away from city. Quite and serene place. It's rocky beach. Not recommended for sea bath.. Sea shore is filled with coconut trees and greenery.

Lovely, serene and beautiful beach. Very clean and less visited. But its worth going because the landscape is very pretty. But the waves are quite high and dangerous therefore you have to be extra cautious. It is advisable not to take a bath by going deep inside; especially keep kids away from the waves.

It is an awesome view at the evening. A place where you can sit and dream during day time. Nice to be there in evenings. The place seems to be very busy with some kind of programs most of the time. Time flies when you are there. Good place to visit.
