I cannot remember a time that I felt so relaxed and so at peace with the surroundings. A ride through Kerala backwaters gives you a glimpse into a simpler, calmer world. Slowly moving along the backwaters with the wind in your hair is one of the most satisfying times in my life
The highlight of the holiday scenic, tranquil, relaxing. The downside was people trying to rip you off but thats India

I really enjoyed floating around the kerala back waters. It was a very relaxing experience and a really beatiful part of India
Dirty water, I saw people cleaning raw chicken and putting the giblets in the water on the riverbank. You can't swim or anything. They view is still scenic. I'd rather do a 1 day canoe trip to avoid polluting the already polluted water. Nice seeing thr local people village life withoutbeing hassl3d to buy thinks like in SE Asia.
Its great and worth experiencing. The Boats, massages and the overall experience was magical. The food available also is outstanding for all types.
