It is a very scenic beach, not very crowded. Perfect for some great clicks of sunset. But this is far from the city and requires travel time from mangalore. If you do visit please be careful as the tide rises dangerously.

if you want to visit a beach that is clean & uncrowded in Mangalore, you better come here. If you feel like it , you can even climb the lighthouse for a better view

A beautiful uncommercialized beach just 500 meters off the NH17/66. Its a little far from the city center and also known as NITK beach. There is a lighthouse just nearby which offers a beautiful view from the top. Visit the beach at evening on a clear day and witness a spectacular sunset

Its a clean beach that can be accessed from the national highway. It is a good place to visit with families. The sea can get a little rough at times and hence it is advisable to be a little careful.

Maybe this is the best beach in Mangalore and in the country, though it is a little far off from the town. But this distance makes it more beautiful by making it less crowded and retaining the beauty which crowds take away from a place. I had a chance to visit this beautiful beach in the morning when I had... More

Away from the bustle and noise of the city is this little untouched beach. About 500 mts away from the Nation Highway opposite to the NITK hostels, this beach offers a beautiful view of the arabian sea. While the other beaches around have been deeply commercialized, this one still isn't and hence offers a much serene experience. Head out after... More

Just opposite to the NITK Campus. Wonderfull beach it has a light house like the kapu beach, you have to be there before 5pm for that. One has to visit the sadashiva temple on the shore of the beach which provides a scenic view of the wonderfull beach.

Though my friend has told me to go in the evening, because of time limitation we have to plan it to visit this place in the morning 10 o'clock. Access to this beach from main road is little small. Once you reach there beach is yours. When we reached we are hardly 10 people there. We found some cool place... More

Thanks to reviews at Tripadvisor that I landed up at this place. I just loved the beach because of its serenity and the Sea gulls which kept on fishing for hours together , giving me the opportunity to shoot some of the best pictures which I always dreamt off. If you are someone who looks for a beach less visited... More
