When we visited, there was absolutely no crowd.. hence we could have great darshan of the Goddess Durga. Almost all Karnataka famous temples are clean, temple staff are non-disturbing, separate counters for prasad and very neatly maintained.. with free food everywhere.

For the devout visitor, SHE is some kind of energy and strength. The temple clergy is kind, attentive, coopertive and never the fleecing type that is seen in many places of worship The temple has a long history and legendary trail of glory

The temple is a religious abode for a place of worship of Goddess Durga . The Goddess is decked symbolically on each day of the nine day celebrations during Navrathri according to the different Avataras.A must see if you can maneuvor with the crowd.
