The way to St. Mary's Island is through a ferry that will run only if minimum 30 people are present at a time so we had to wait 40 minutes to get into the boat. The boat right was cool and we reached the islands in 30 minutes. Wasn't able to point out the 4 set of islands that was... More

Good island and a must visit place when one visit's Managalore or Udupi. You can relax and enjoy the ferry ride to the island and can spend couple of hours at the island. Overall a good experience.

An island in the middle of sea. It will be a different experience if you are able to visit this place. Beach is also very nice. Better you catch the boat from beach than ferry.

St. Mary's island is a very close to mainland. Frequent ferries available from Malpe beach., which is near Udupi. Malpe beach is accessible from Udupi by local bus, which is less than a half an hours journey. Malpe beach is a long beach but not very clean. But you can take a local boat from Malpe beach to St. Mary's... More

St Mary's Island is one of the beautiful and serene places that one must explore. Natural wonder formed from basaltic lava rock and one of the few geological monuments of the type exists in the world. If you are in Mangalore and have a day free this is the place to visit. You take a bus from Mangalore to Udipi... More

This beach is almost 60kms from Mangalore. Need to take a boat ride from Malpe Beach. In mid of the sea you need to change the boat. Like from one boat to another. Depends which kinda boat you take. When in boat always listen to the staff on the boat. Important part of St. Mary`s Island is that it is... More
