Watch maamis in their kanjeevarams haggle in the market, visit a temple or two, eat local food and browse through small shops. The Kaadu Malleswara Temple and Sankey Tank are oases of calm amid the bustle. A new arrival on the scene is the incongruous Mantri Mall, much reviled for being the harbinger of modernization in Malleswaram. « less

Malleshwaram is a must visit place to experience the Old Bangalore. Now modernised in some areas but the essence is the Old Bangalore. Good place to shopping, to have food and to experience the Thick cover of tress everywhere in the midst of rampant growth bangalore has had in recent times.

Great connectivity via Metro, one can go shopping for everything from grocery, clothes, shoes to furniture. The multiplex and amoeba gaming centre is a haven for those tired of shopping and want to chill out. The food courts have a great choice, overall it was a great experience. Though missed shops like Mango, Zara, Chemistry, Tommy Hilfigher and Debenhams.

The most happening place for a shopaholic and foodies. I love this place and compare it to the maddison square of the ever loveable bangaluru. Yes its a haven for food and street photography. But yes the food is more strictly vegetarian with immense amount of udupi and tamilian restaurant . The reason might be numerous temple around the place.

There are many shops to visit. Very costly. Very croud. Good location. People in shops are very co-operative. Due to less time i had not done much shoping but satisfied with less shoping.

Malleswaram is the ultimate destination to savour old Bangalore traditions and heritage. Walk through the shopping streets for some good steals or head to the Sankey tank for a serene time by the lake or simply eat out at multiple eateries available at Malleswaram
