The beautiful Ulsoor Lake, located in the city center, went through a phase of being thoroughly neglected before it was spruced up again. Boating is a possibility here. A visit to this lake can be combined with a visit to the nearby Gurudwara (Sikh house of worship), Bangalore’s largest.

It's not a place for leisurely walk as water is not clean to be around, or for romantic time... at best can take a quick walk as sometime they clean the green water... it looks good in design but could have been a good place to spend an hour if water was encouraging ... at best can enjoy a ''çhaat'... Situated In the heart of the city, this is one of oldest and medium sized lake. This lake is maintained by the MEG soldiers. But unfortunately not well maintained, which one time was pride of Bangalore! Boat riding is available and a small park and walk around is also there!

Bangalore's oldest lake and largest lake ,well maintained by the MEG soldiers. There is a small park and boating facilities are available for tourists . Park and restaurant is not well maintained though. The water level is high through out the year,it is told that in olden days this lake was the source of drinking water ,but that is not... More

I had visited Ulsoor lake several years back but the recent visit left me a bit disappointed. Some of the old facilities have not been maintained and wish it was done

Large stretch of jogging path around the lake is most attractive part along with Boating and snacking around on the other side of the lake. Nice place to have a morning stroll, jog if you live anywhere nearby. Can spend evenings walking and snacking around with friends if you are in mood to be lazy.

Ulsoor lake is a must-visit attraction in bangalore. There is an added attraction of boating facility also on this beautiful lake. Adjoining the lake are many areas such as Old Madras Road and K Kamaraj Road. The water in this lake is full to the brim in the monsoons and is filled with greenery on all sides.
