Owner description: The beautiful Ulsoor Lake, located in the city center, went through a phase of being thoroughly neglected before it was spruced up again. Boating is a possibility here. A visit to this lake can be combined with a visit to the nearby Gurudwara (Sikh house of worship), Bangalore’s largest.

My collages and first company where I started working was around road of the lake. I have seen different stages of this lake where it had fishy smell and cleaned up and then lot of construction for the lake up liftment was done. In my college days we used to regularly visit the parks around this lake. Even now we... More

This is a huge lake and its surroundings have been developed as a track. Lot of people do there jogging in the morning and evening. There is a place for exercising as well with equipment . Outskirts you get tea and roasted bhutta.

We were there just for an evening stroll. The didn't look really clean so we just dropped the idea of taking a boat ride. The kids play area was okay but Mosquitos swarming you by the dusk of the day. Taking a stroll would be just fine.

One of the oldest lakes in Bengaluru, picture perfect soothing views a midst ever increasing bustling traffic of North Bengaluru however would expect it to be more cleaner as not all parts of the lake and its surroundings are well maintained.

A nice place to hang out. The motor boat ride is a bit of letdown coz it ends in just 7 minutes. If you've got time, must take the paddle boat instead.

One of the most beautiful lakes left in what used to be A city of lakes. Sadly, though the walking path has been extended to go almost all around the lake, its not paved and quite rough in patches. Laying tiles, concrete or even sand would help tremendously to make it easier to walk on. A couple of islands in... More
