After years of intending to, I finally visited St.Mary's during an amble through the crowded streets of Shivajinagar. You turn into the gate and the street sounds seem suddenly muted. It is perhaps the most popular church in Bangalore and because of its central location, it is crowded on certain days.

We were there for chirstmas, it was so rush we were not able to go inside the church. So we went to the chapel opposite the church and we left our Sandles outside when we came after the prayer, my husband's Sandle was missing. So beware of your belongings. The church is good and holy.

This is an oldest gothic church designed by a French architect, located in the prime spot of Shivaji Nagar, one of the busiest area in Bangalore. Only a limited parking is available. Usually, the church will be crowded in the evening.
