I remember going to this church as a child and it was blue and white with plenty of open space around. I think the officials went a little overboard with the renovations and unfortunately the church has ended up loosing its charm.

Tends to be rather crowded in the evenings and on sundays but one can still manage a quiet spot to get a quick dose of tranquility.

A church in the heart of the old city close to Russel Market. Devotees from all walks of life visit the church to ask for favours. Became famous during the 1800's black plague which wiped out the city's old areas. Legend has it that those who went to the church for protection were saved. Very crowded.

Very old and very nice Basilica of Mother Mary. Located at just a stone throwing distance from Shivajinagar Bus Stand, attracts devotees from all religions. The yearly feast is very attractive and pulls a lot of devotees from all over Bangalore and from all walks of society.

It is a beautiful church, lovley architecture. A must visit fror tourists. If South Bangalore has a lot of Hindu temples then the area North of MG Road has some amazing churches. This is definitely one of the most amazing one. Must visit. Surely.
