The Neo-Dravidian-style Vidhana Soudha is the seat of the state legislature while the red Attara Kacheri houses the High Court. In 2005, an annex called the Vikas Soudha was inaugurated, designed as an exact replica of the Vidhana Soudha. Though these buildings cannot be visited, they can be viewed from the outside.

Great Architecture

The structure looks so maginificiant and beautiful. The area is clean but you can not sit there. Can click pictures only from outside

While the Vidhana Soudha is very pleasing to the eyes and a great looking monument, there is not much to do there. It is a good place to drive by and absorb the history.

The building structure is magnificient and the place is very clean. Now because of the metro wok the roads are dug up.

Vidhana Saudha houses both houses of assembly and all the offices of the ministries. This beautiful building was built during 1950s near Cabban Park close to High Court, Raj Bhavan, This can be called as land mark of the city. Vidhan Soudha is the seat of the state legislature of Karnataka in Bangalore. Completed in 1956, the imposing building is built in the Neo-Dravidian style of architecture. Vidhan Soutdha, a truly remarkable, beautiful building which houses the state legislature and secretariat replaced Attara kacheri which was seat of power during the maharaja time. Great place to see. The archtiecture, the environs and the whole place looks great. ONe of the best places to visit in Bangalore as a tourist.
