Enjoy the day with family and friends at the great tree, with its picturesque location. Have fun and food (be ware of the monkey menace!!!). Well connected by road and no problem for car... More

400+ years old..around 30kms from Bangalore..this really is a humongous Banyan Tree..one can visit this place en route Savan Durga, along with Machenbele..it makes for a good road trip..! ..frankly its just a Banyan Tree, but a 15-20 mins exploration is worth it..the scale of the tree is quite a visual..!

I went to this place after reading reviews in Tripadvisor. It is a shear waste of time. As you all would have seen anywhere it is a simple BANYAN TREE. To make it very clear EK BARGAD BARGAD KA PED HAI what u call in hindi . There is nothing to do, nothing to see. To make it attractive authorities... More

Enjoyed walking around the place! The place comes free with monkeys, lots and lots of monkeys! Watch your stuff and make sure you don't litter as it would pose hazardous to these innocent creatures!

Aha, Big banyan tree. I reached this place after travelling for almost 2 hours from Bangalore, was always excited to see how a tree can cover the whole park of some acres and was excited to know about it. So during a weekend planned with few of my friends to visit the place. So after travelling for a while and... More

It is big and it is a wonder. Kids love this place and sometimes adults become kids - swaying back and forth clutching the roots. It is a welcome break from the pace of Bangalore. Don't forget to visit the Sholay rock nearby.
