I am not sure that this is worth going out of your way for but if you are in the vicinity you should stop and relax awhile here. It is awesome that one organism could grow to this size. It is also FULL of monkeys so make sure you are not displaying anything edible or shiny or they will try... More

As people say, there is nothing much here. Just visit if you have lots of time, or you want to spend some time on the way to mysore or Bangalore.. No point in going all the way till there just to visit there. Its only worth if you are passing by mysore road. Its a cool and calm place, Can... More

I really would not call this a tourist attraction nor would recommend it to travelers. The tree is very old and quite well maintained. But apart from walking around the roughly 2.5 acre area around the tree there is nothing much to do. And there are monkeys, so watch out. If you are on your way to Savandurga, you may... More

What a wasteful way to spend time. There is absolutely nothing here. What do you expect. There is a Big Banyan tree and a lot of roadside vendor. It is really worth travelling all the way from Bangalore on Mysore road and then travel inside for some more time to see a place which has absolutely nothing to office. Please... More

Not worth to call a tourist spot at all. Other than an ancient not so maintained banyan tree u have nothing around.

Its a nice place. The banyan tree has a vast expanse which shadows the whole garden. I have been there twice on cycle but this was never the destination. It was more of a pitstop. You can relax in the cool breeze for sometime but apart from that there is nothing much to do here

The tree is really huge and with a balanced green canopy. The trunk is scattered to balance entire tree. Nice place on stop on way and relax.

The area is good with lot of shade, worth investing time for relaxation. Difficult to make out the main trunk of this huge tree. Kids will enjoy to play hide and seek. If you are carrying food, Be careful with monkeys.

I heard about this place through friends.. Good the see a huge banyan tree but as main trunk is not anymore it looks scattered. Also this place is not maintained well. Could be the reason there is no entry fee.
