If you don't mind sitting on a rough shoddy coach you will be amazed at this Elephant reserve to which you can wash the Elephants and even ride on them!! There is a small fee to use your.. camera but that is just pennies!...The journey is rough as the roads are unmade so not idea for people with back problems,...

I have been a great believer in the Government Tourism Corporations and have always taken oportunities to explore the conducted tour packages offered by them.

This is a fantastic day trip organized by KSTDC. My wife and I took this in 2007 and it was a delightful experience. it covered a lot of places like Belur, Halebid and Shravanabelagola. The bus journey was comfortable and there was good enough time to visit each of the places.
