The best way to spend a few hours early on Sunday morning. Mr. Vijay is an enthusiastic and knowledgable guide full of anecdotes about the gardens, Bangalore and much more. The breakfast at MTR was a true highlight. Fantastic, highly recommended.

Beautifully lead walk through Bangalore's Botanical Garden, Lal Bagh. The guide is a widely read, senior gent who seamlessly connects anecdotes to history, politics, geography and then brings alive the story of a tree or leaf...Compressed into 3 hours across 240 acres, this is just a sneak preview, since Mr Vijay can easily and most engagingly hold the group in... I booked a cab in Bangalore for Airport drop for just Rs. 650. When the cab came I was surprised totally, It was a luxury sedan car. Later I got to know that Mega Cabs is having this offer for its customers. The cab was fabulous with comfortable seats and AC was on. It was like I am traveling in... More

Highly informative walking tour on some history and botany of the flora collection in Lal Bagh. The entire walk was like a nice bedtime story from a grandfather figure - highly engaging. The breakfast at MTR is a must try too. Highly recommended.

Outstanding - very knowledgeable & passionate guide in Vijay Thiruvady. Amazing collection of flora from all parts of the world, making it one of the premier botanical gardens with unique stories behind each plant. Like the "Pride of Burma" (Amherstia nobilis), which is also called the "Queen of Flowering Trees" or the "Orchid Tree" due to it's spectacular vermillion /... More

Many places are similar to Kenya-unkempt and dirty. India has more Suzuki Martin than anywhere else in the world. In fact the number of Toyota's is negligible

In Arun's words since Bangalore doesn't feature in much of history books since it has been peaceful here. One of the best story tellers one gets to hear about the fascinating history of the city, it's British past till recent past. After you have walked though MG road and heard about the city's amazing past you will get a chance... More

I took the Green heritage walk and loved every bit of it. Right from the convenient manner of booking...the walk itself was a delight. Mr. Vijay took us around Lalbagh - armed with indepth knowledge about the history of the place, its trees and lovely anecdotes to share :). The walk ended with a scrumptious meal at MTR. Definitely a... More

We did the Victorian walk. As the guide will confess, Bangalore doesn't have an obvious selection of monuments to clearly display its history but this tour does uncover less obvious gems and brings to life the significant role this part of India has played in world development. A very interesting and thoroughly worthwhile reason to get up at 6am! As... More
