This place should have free entrance. Entrance fee is not justified. Boating is good. Very Ordinary joy rides & very very ordinary food stalls. Highly not recommended

Lake looks clean and boating is good experience. Otherwise very avg. place, not well managed (with respect to ticket price they are having). Very few options for food and that too not of some good qualities. Everywhere of the lake shore, you will find couples sitting and chatting so not so good place for family. Couple of rides for kids... More

Few of my pathetic experience in Lumbini garden are as below: 1. Stinky lake... Need serious cleaning of pond 2. Not well maintained property. 3. Entrance fee is damn high relative to the facility available. However, it is nice to visit in the evening with love ones or with family... once in a lifetime

To spend a nice weekend with family, you can choose this place. Kids have got more fun here. Boating and rides are well-maintained. For every ride, we have to pay separately. Entry fee is Rs 50/-.

Had been there on 1/Jan. The place was a bit crowded, maybe because of holiday. Had a great time in boating. Other than boating not much to write about. Entrance fee of Rs 50 is okay. But I think the charges for boating can be reduced a bit.

We went to Lumbini Gardens on our return from Nrityagram. The place is okay maintained even though they charge you Rs 50 as entrance fees. The very first thing you notice is the whole long list of Do's and Don'ts of the park...like no couple should sit closer to each other, no eatables allowed etc. lolz...but good to see it.... More

The lake is very good, clean and clam. Although the facilities around the lake are not at all maintained. They charge Rs 50 as entrance fee but zero maintenance.

Though it is good place to preserve nature's greenary, it does not have much to offer for visitors. It does nit have enough entertaining features for kids or for family members. Only advantage is experiencing water ride
