It was one day visit, went for safari ride and got to see wild animals real close. I expected the safari ride to be very long ride but it was too short, little disappointed with that. Zoo and the butterfly park are well maintained. Please do not carry non-degradable such as plastic bags, bottles, etc as these are not allowed... More

The main attraction, the safari is good, but it is kind of very short. More on the road than in the animal enclosures. The zoo has many attractions and you can definitely spend a good amount of your day here with your family. Kids will love it.

I took one of the safaris and we got extremely close to the tigers. So close that I was actually afraid at times. We saw both white and regular tigers. Highly recommended. Here's one of my photos that shows how close we got: https://instagram.com/p/zr_SV2ouWm/?modal=true

This is one of the best place that I have ever been to experience wildlife. Unlike any other zoo, at this place you enter into cage (which are really huge) to see wild animals from real close distant. It has been maintained very well. A must see place in Bangalore.

Nice safari ride where you can get close by the animals. We had a jeep which is a bit more expensive than the bus but definitely worth it. The jeep is more flexible so if 4 or less go for it. While waiting for the safari ride you can walk around in the zoo. It's not that big but nicely... More

Great place with an amazing butterfly garden, Lion Safari and choice of animals in the Zoo section. Don't Forget the Beers falling in the roads while on Lion Safary and amazing tigers. A nice hangout with Family. A must and recommended if you have Kids.

Firstly, the area outside Bannerghata National Park is a zoo -- of a human kind! An amusement park, kids screeching 'bhutta, bhutta', men shouting trying to sell you coconut water. It's utter chaos and not what you would expect from a national park at all. Nonetheless, we went in and decided to embark on a safari (no zoo visit for... More

This national park is situated on outskirts of Bangalore and can be easily reached by local bus service. It will be a half day visit and is quite economical on pocket. The best part is safari. You can also have a private safari on a jeep. You will see white tigers, lion, elephants, bear besides other animals. Best part is... More
