One can opt for Safari, Zoo & butterfly park in a single ticket or other options are also available. For safari normal bus & private vehicle(6,8 people) options are available. Safari will show mainly Bear, tiger, white tiger, Lions & Elephants. Zoo is also very good but the number of species is very less. Overall a very good place if... More

The Bannerghatta Biological Park is the facility where we engage in safaris to visit Tigers, Lions, Ungulates and Elephants in enclosures that are quite close to their natural habitats. The Bannerghatta National Park is the Wildlife Sanctuary that encloses the BBP. The BBP is a great place to take kids and / or family out for the day. Remember to... More

This place is a one time visit if you came to Bangalore or staying in bangalore or wants to kill time on weekend. This zoo has three sections: 1. Normal Zoo (Herbivorous animals) 2. Safari 3. Butterfly park. However this zoo need maintenance very much & I think the animals are underfeed. If you visited bandipur or nagerhole then you... More

This is a place where one can experience a bit of Zoo, a bit of Safari and unique Butterfly Park. To start with, the place has undergone a fabulous transformation compared to how it looked about 4 years back. And i could see quite a bit of work in progress in the zoo area. Safari: Really the best part of... More

the Safari is good. You get to see animals which are healthy in their natural environs. The inside of the park is clean. But the approach road and the parking is FILTHY. Garbage dumps everywhere. It doesn't seem that there is a municipal body which exists in Bangalore. Totally disapoointing

I never thought the day-trip will be so satisfactory.. The hour long safari is good and you will see most of the animals- lots of bears, deers, and those white-tigers are amazing. Then you have a good zoo to spend another 1-2 hours... totally can spend a good day for 5-6 hours.. The butterfly park is not that full.. and... More

Safari is the best bet one can have. You can see live Lions and Tigers upclose and personal. We saw multiple animals in their nature setting, Water facility is poor. Cannot carry plastic stuff with food.
