Other animals are in the park, with their own enclosures - many birds (white peafowl is a treat to watch, as are the innumerable Macaws). many gharials and crocodiles, variety of Deer, chital,... When we reached around noon, the AC ride ticket counter was closed. We opted for non-AC and it seemed like a good decision since it wasnt that hot that day. We straight away went for the Safari ride first which commenced after 10 min wait. Saw bears, lions, tigers, elephants, deer, etc. The bus was congested and it was not... More

Well maintained and good job by the forest department. The safari is very good. We were a family of 12 from ages 12-70. All liked.

They have zoo and safari, unlike usual national parks you'll see animals here for sure, since park is more like a bigger zoo, they come very near to bus and give you a good experience. Zoo also is quite big and have good variety of animals, reptiles, birds. they have a butterfly park also which is decent and worth visiting.... More

Both Zoo and Safari are awesome. If planning to go for Safari (which you must), better reach there by 10.30 AM latest. Food options are ok types like other places in Bangalore. Better carry some snacks yourself and please don't litter. Keep the place clean.

Very nice Zoo with a huge variety of Fauna and Flora... Surprisingly well maintained as well.. The highlight of my visit was the lion safari which shows these wild beasts in their natural habitat.

Bannerghatta National park, a beautiful place where you can see lions very close to you. You can visit this National Park in safari tour operated by forest department. Very safe, sure you will see lions every time you visit this place.

Safari ride is the best part of this park. Do check out polar bear and tiger - White tigers. Zoo is really big. If you are with parents kindly take polo car (Rs.300 for the car). Don't forget to check out Ostrich and hipo-poatemaus. If you are really found of zoo, check out Mysore zoo too.

A good place to take kids to although poorly maintained. The safari is nothing great. Kids may enjoy the ride though and it is a good place to visit during the weekends -- very crowded during those days though.
