I am living in Bangalore so going to Bannerghata is a very typical day-trip getaway. So Me and a friend decided to go and visit Bannerghatta National Park sometime back. I was expecting to see animals (especially tigers) protected from external dangers to keep them safe but preserving up to a certain level their freedom. Not really what we saw... More

I visited the park with a friend and we liked every moment of time spend (around 5 hours) in the park. We went straight to the bird section which is in the beginning of the park and the chirps and whistles of the birds took us into a different world altogether. We spent a good amount of time looking at... More

Elephant safari and of course the safari in the vehicles of the Forest department which tours through out the National park, where one can sight many animals. Also the butterfly park!! ,... More

It is not at all a national park. It is just a zoo. Only difference is the cage is big. The advantage is you can always see the animals since it is zoo. The name national park is misleading
