Very good place for kids. But avoid this place during holidays! Try to reach as early as possible to avoid the mad rush. There is not enough parking space for cars. Make sure that you book the tickets for safari and entry early via internet. Food at the restaurant is not great and is little expensive too. Try to get... More

The facility located near Bangalore is one of the well maintained national parks in the country. To start with it is located near the metropolis, has a good parking facility, ample food parks and some basic kids play area. The main attractions are the snake parks, birds park which has a great variety of the species. It is a basic... More

Its a beautifully made Park for all . Different species of Birds, Animals can be seen here. All the Animals are well maintained and taken care of. This place is in the heart of Bannerghatta and can be easily accessible from Bangalore city and outstation limits.

I like the elephant and bear in this park. Nice place to visit. You get food inside the park so no problem for lunch or breakfast. Its quite far from the main bengaluru city.

Though short the safari was a splendid experience. I haven't been to any other safari to compare. But for first timer it is worth a shot. You will see Lions, tiger, White tiger, Bear, Deer and Elephants in their natural habitat. If you have a SLR you will definitely get a good click. About the Zoo, it is small one... More

While technically a National Park, it seems that Bannerghatta is used exclusively for the safari. Don't know how costly it was (as our entry and coach there was provided for us) - but we were bundled into mini-vans and then bumped and braked our way through the Park. Don't go if you can't withstand a bumpy ride - and never... More

I loved the safari. But the staff was very rude to another couple and it was shocking to see them speak so rudely to a lady. The staff starting from the manager needs to be sensitized to good behaviour and polite conversation.

Seeing Animals in the open is a different experience but it was kind of zoo more than a national park. Animals were given less space for hovering just like Zoo. Although seeing animal just near your safari vehicle is fun but variety of animals were less. Its good if you are going with 3 more person and book a jeep... More
