Quite disappointed with this place. Was told it was an amazing safari where you can see wild tigers, bears, lions, cheetahs, etc… Basically, you ride in an old caged bus along poor roads, and they let out the animals from their caged area so you can see them. Do not expect US standards. There is a toilet (a hole in... More

We visited Bannerghatta National Park on 24th August 2014 which was a long pending promise to my 2yr old son and a kind of his birthday treat. So couldn't delay it more. It was my 3rd trip to the national park. Been to some more national parks before, so things were not pretty exciting to me, but certainly for a... More

what an amazing park. The kids got to see white tigers, tigers, lions, bears and just few feet away. Great security too. the safari guides are amazing - so helpful and always ready to capture the best shots for us. Kids loved it and so did we.

its worth spending a day in a zoo. Plenty of rare species including white peacock and rare birds. there is a safari to the forest where they will take you to the natural habitat of tigers and its really exciting how much precaution they take to keep it safe. you might feel like you are entering a high security zone..... It takes me less than an hour to Get to Bannerghatta National Park from my house in Koramangala in South Bangalore. The place is a must visit if you have kids. The name 'National Park' is a misnomer. What the place offers is really two things, A medium sized Zoo and a 40 min Bus safari. There is also a... More

Since the time my one and half years old started identifying animals upon seeing them in books/TV, I became curious to show him the real animals. So I decided to visit Banerghatta National Park on a weekday to avoid the rush on weekends. I was wondering would it be worth visiting the park with such a small kid? Will he... More

Recently last weekend of July, I visited this park along with my wife and friend. We reached there around 12.30 on sunday afternoon. Since this was weekend, one can expect some crowd. there are good number of food stalls and shops, so one's basic needs can be covered but don't expect a lot from food option. We inquired about the... More
