Owner description: This was once the summer retreat of Tipu Sultan. It’s a good place for hiking and birding. The hill also has temples dating back to the Chola period. It gets extremely crowded on weekends. The hills offer great views of the surroundings, though.

The 201 bus takes you out of Mysore and up to this hilltop .Theres steps that take you down and to a Giant Black Nandi Bull . The views of Mysore from here are lovely . Fresh air and quietness.

It was one day me and my wife were browsing several posts and travelogues in the Internet since evening ... to find a spot near Bangalore for a weekend trip. We were discussing Nandi hills some days back, so it anyway had a priority. But when we did some search regarding this, we were sure that it could be done,... More

Its a great place to hangout and photoshoots, nice place to have peace of mind. Its located just 1hour away from Bangalore main city. Bike rides can be more amazing in this area. Best time to visit is sunrise (6:30-7AM)

This place is good if you wanna somewhere in peace in and out of bangalore. Too far from the city, but worthy enough if you travel with friends or family.

Went to Nandi Hills on a Solo bike ride. The road is good once you go out of Bangalore. You can take stopovers at a few tea shops on the highway. The actual place is good. so is the ride. I saw the sun set. It was worth it. Took pictures, visited the temple and a few other places. One... More

Nandi Hills is one of my favourite destinations. It is around 50 - 60 Kms from Bangalore. The drive to nandi hill is also amazing. You can go with your family friends for a picnic. Sunrise and Sunset are the best to watch from the top. Bird watchers can also see lot of birds here.

A good relaxing place. far from the busy town and life. Famous for sunrise and sunset. 60 KM from Bangalore town. Reach there before 5AM to see the sunrise and to feel the cold. Such a calm and neat place. Best for bike riders. good road with less traffic. You can enjoy the ride.

I’ve been coming to Bangalore for eight years - and lived there for a year - and yet had never taken time to visit Nandi Hills. I’m glad I did, at least on this sunny winter day. Rent a car & driver and bring the whole family; it’s about 60-90 minutes north of the city, past the airport and few... More
