Stopped twice on a day trip to the monasteries. There did seem to be some movement but I'm not sure I'm fully convinced. It's worth a quick stop when passing but not much more.

Highly overrated and not even worth stopping at. We slowed down the car and kept going. To think we were originally planning a visit to this area just for the hill!

We went on Thar and did offroading by climbing the mountain with the car. Its illusion over there so do not get taken away with what is written over there.

Our car did move uphill though the ngine was switched off, though many other cars merely wasted their diesel. So you can give it a try as it is close to other attractions like Sangam and the gurdwara.

The internet says it is an optical illusion and I tend to believe that. Though the enthusiasm of Bikers and Motorists riding up the side of the hill does make it seem true.
