Surrounded by majestic hills and guided by well maintained highways the experience becomes singular and breathtaking. The feeling of reaching the unseen destination makes you thrilled. Surprised ! when my bike rolled on its own uphill made me think that law of physics had been defied by me today.

Situated near Leh in Ladakh, Magnetic Hill is a gravity hill that is believed to possess strong magnetic properties.. It is said that the magnetic force at this place pulls cars uphill and forces aircraft to increase their altitude so as to escape the interference caused by the effect and IT IS REALLY TRUE YOU CAN FEEL THE FORCE WHILE... Its actually fun to witness something that defies the proven laws of physics. It does or its does not? I am still confused about that. Amazing scenery. Brilliant location for photographers to have some of their best snaps. Quite and a serene place.

This probably will be your way to visit sone monasteries. And YOU DO HAVE to stop and enjoy the experience. Also the scenario is beautiful. And if you are lucky to have the road "all to yourself ", you will be able to take amazing pictures.

It is fun to visit this. Another creation of nature . To some it is illlusion but the driver with us tried to prove that also and proved. It is 25-30 km away from Leh on Leh Srinagar highway and on the way of Alchi village and Ulteppo.

Take thunderbird from Leh and start riding towards Kargil. You will visit this attraction in 25-30 km and I am still not sure if it was the illusion or actually the bikes were going uphill without ignition but it was fun and a unique thing to experience. Must visit. Better ride towards Kargil and visit the confluence, gurudwara pathhar sahab... More

Very popular for having a magnetic hill which pulls the vehicles upslope, and the vehicles may be as heavy as full blown trucks. Howsoever, do read about it as it is an optical illusion which makes you see a downhill look like an uphill. To be very honest, when I came to know the fact that there is no magnetic... More

You need to take time off and then try this. It doesn't work for very heavy vehicles, but, it works for smaller cars. Once you stop your car in the defined squares on the road, you certainly discover the movement defies the rules of gravity.
