We visited the The Mughal Gardens on the 7th of May, 2012. Actually, the Mughal Garden is a combination of three renowned gardens namely the Nishat Bagh, the Shalimar Gardens and the Chashm-e-shahi. The Shalimar garden is now filled with rows and rows of trees and flowers are in full bloom everywhere. Water is flowing down from the top in... More

I am sure the gardens were very beautiful in the mughal times but now they are in a very sad state. There is no control over littering in the gardens though it is a punishable offence as mentioned at the entrance itself. It is better to look at the pictures of the garden on internet rather than seeing the place... More

We visited the gardens on 28 March 2012 and were not very impressed. None of the fountains/water features were functional. We were in and out of there in a very short while. More

Happend to visit Mughal Gardens during our Kashmit trip. The entrance is really attarctive but surrounded by hawkers, shops selling anything at 1.5 times the prices and no control over traffic. The garden is not very big and has a chaos inside. People just manage to break the barricades and enter from any place to anywhere (even in restricted areas)... More

Take your time to stroll through the gardens. Trees beckon, the view over the lake is a famous one and rightly so! More
