We visited Pari Mahal on the last day of our Kashmir tour. The location is very close to Chashme Shahi garden. This is a Moughal era structure and a four tiered garden. On one side you get excellent view of entire dal lake and on the other side you get view of beautiful mountains. There is an entry fee of... More

You get a birds eye view in a lovely tiered garden setting. Has a very romantic ambience. Was not crowded. Some flowers were in bloom including some tulips.

This run down ruins cum garden complex is higher up in the hills. It is structured over 5-6 layers and the views are phenomenal. You see the lake, Taj, Tulip gardens and entire city in different hues. Even the backdrop of cloudy mountains is beautiful. Little difficult for elderly

The Pari Mahal is perched on a hill in Srinagar. Consequently it provides majestic views of the Dal Lake and part of the city. It has multiple tiers. Go to each of them to get a different view of the city. This was constructed by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan's son Suja

One of the few historical places in India that I enjoyed visiting although it could do with a lot better maintenance and care for a place of such significance. Amazing views over Srinagar from this 17th century historical marvel. Be sure to bring your camera with you....

Visit this place on a clear day to see the view from the top. Apart from that there is nothing to see here

Situated at height it gives excellent view of Dal lake and great background of Dal lake for photographs. Whole dal lake and Srinagar can be seen from the Pari mahal along with the near by golf course. Must visit to view the Dal lake.

A less known place to visit. 5 levels of terraced gardens on the hillside overlooking the valley. Beautiful views and worth the effort to take your vehicle further up the hill at sunset. Peaceful
