Please do visit this place. This is not frequented by travelers and is still holds its virgin charm. It beats Switzerland in beautiful views. Don't miss it in your itinerary.

Wanna see lush green meadows, then this is the place for you...Road to yousmarg from Srinagar takes us through apple orchards, almond trees, walnut trees... it ll be really beautiful if you travel when they are on full bloom... Plan for one night stay in JKTDC property Yousmarg during season (till mid October), please avoid staying in winter and even... More

Went to Yousmarg and stopped at numerous apple, almond and pear orchards which were divine. We went for a 2 hour mountain pony ride that took us to the unspoiled mountains and lakes and waterfalls. Spectacular. Enkoy a Kashmiri Kava, the local Kashmiri tea with almonds, cinnamon, cardamom, etc. Brilliant!

OK my title seems vague but honestly Yousmarg was a waste of time...I mean its better you spend more time in Gulmarg or Pahalgam then go here. It undoubtedly beautiful but the problem is pony man... since yousmarg is more for local crowd if these guys see any tourist they like just dont leave you at all... like your shadow... More

The way to Yousmarg is very scenic. the landscape is different than that on the way to Gulmarg and Pahalgam. This is more yellowish green rather than dark green. It was very cold there. Must be great to stay there which we missed. So quite and serene.

We had read rave reviews about Yousmarg and incorporated two night at this supposedly less explored destination. It is undoubtably beautiful with grasslands, mountain peaks, valleys, lake and Doodhganga river. The pony walas here are better compared to any other place and the govt prices for ponies are quiet reasonable compared to other places. JKDC offers a budget but decent... More

Wonderful spot int the nature. Nice trecking trails, less overrun by people than other places. We did a 2h pony ride, including waterfall, wild flowers and some nice trails through the forests. The horses where well fed and healthy (unlike the dirthole Gulmarg). As a sportive trecking tourist you can for sure get more and better of these nature experiences,... More

This is really unseen beauty of the Kashmir. Very few tourist go there. I would rather suggest to include Yousmarg in your itinerary. Scenic place yet undiscovered by many tourist who visit Kashmir. If you have spare day in you trip then must visit this place. You will enjoy for sure.
