this is an unexplored or we can say less exploited place. jammu kashmir government accomodations are avilable there at about rs 1200 those are good, there are also two hotels there only. horse riding is good but you have to contract wisely. rates vary from 200 to 600 depending upon the destinations

In Kashmir, each place is different - Srinagar/Sonmarg/Yousmarg/Gulmarg/Pahalgam are all different from each other in their beauty. Yousmarg is full of green meadows. We had a small trek-kinda walk to the Neel Nag lake. However, the lake itself is nothing very attractive, since it is not amidst natural surroundings. Visitors have alsi polluted its banks with plastics etc. I wish... More

A hidden treasure in kashmir. It gives an amazing panoramic view. And the trek to the Doodhganga river can be done easily in a day trip . The trek gives a feeling of adventure which is really cherish able.

in comparison to pahalgam and sonemarg , this place is not that great. its 2.5 hour drive from srinagar and would take you complete day considering if you have to return to srinagar in the night. if you like trekking in the woods then this place might be of some interest but the views are not that mesmerising in comparison... Yousmarg is about 50 kms from Srinagar and I recommeded it as a perfect day trip from Srinagar. The drive is good and offers scenic view of the valley and river flowing by. Yousmarg is for some reason not so popular with tourish who generally limit themself to Gulmarg-Pahalgam-Sonamarg and Srinagar as a standard itenary. However, this place is very... More

This time we wanted to explore the off beat places in Kashmir and as such we had booked with JKTDC for Yousmarg, Kokernag and Aru valley. Unfortunately we could only visit Yousmarg and the balance had to be converted to Gulmarg and Sonmarg due to the curfew and tensions. The staff at JKTDC were very helpful and prompt in transferring our... It's almost 2:5 hours from Srinagar. Not worth visiting. We were disappointed after the visit. I don't suggest this to any tourist.

A lovely place about 2 hrs drive from Srinagar. Surreal beauty with a river flowing by. U can take a pony ride around the place. Fooding options are severely limited so best to carry your picnic hamper. Must go to place with kashmir

Good place to visit for new comers. Suggest must visit to all my friends and family if you're going for sight seeing. But this of course comes after Sonamarg, Gulmarg and Pahalgam

Let this be very clear at the outset - this is no Gulmarg . Not even a pale shadow . It is a very quiet and peaceful place . The magical hours are at sunrise and sunset . No place at all for a day excursion from Srinagar . The JKTDC hotel is basic but fully functional . The people... More
