This place is 47 kms from Srinagar. JKTDC has hotel at this place so if you like this place you can stay here. You can take horse ride to visit 3-4 points and it takes 2-3 hours They will charge 150 Rs (charges are mentioned on the board outside). If you have been to Gulmarg, Pahalgam this is not new... More

50 km from srinigar upcoming tourist spot Here also you can take a horse ride to doodgaga water fall,were there is no water fall but river stream.

Its about 50kms from Srinagar and taking 2 hrs to reach One of the neglected places and doesnt have many tourists visiting.If you dont include this in you travel itienary you will not miss out on much. After enjoying our breakfast on 6th October , 2012 , we left The Peacock Houseboat for Yusmarg via Charari Sharief, the seat of Sheikh Nur Ud Din which was a simple wooden structure before it was gutted down . A less frequented but extremely beautiful place..Yousmarg is now connected by a very good motorable road. The Place is being spruced up by the tourism dept and shortly you will have droves of tourists flocking the place..we trekked for about 3 kms in the Jungle..am amazing experience !!

For nature lovers, please visit Yousmarg. Undoubtedly the best place in the typical tourist circuit ....but less travelled. Govt. is developing Yousmarg and one should visit before its commercialised. The roads have been improved a lot except some patches at the end but it is definitely moterable. It is a nice valley to spend half day. It is quite picturesque surrounded by tall & nice trees. It is a must visit place for Srinagar visitors.
