Road from Nagar castle to Jana falls is a bit bumpy. However, once you reach the place, you will be very happy.. waterfalls and chairs alongisde the falls.. 2-3 small shops to serve you hot hot noodles.. :) The shop beside the falls even serves the local cuisine. Its their speciality and will convincen you to buy a "Thali" Suggest... More

A beautiful waterfall in the middle of the huge rocks. Accessible by a very narrow road not far from the road. Good spot for photo shooting and feel the fresh and chill water falling. What I really didn't like is the commercial activities which actual spoil the natural surrounding. As the littering of the river looks to me to be... More

the place is beautiful...tucked away from the main hustle of manali.....have been there numerous times and still love to go again....lot of people feel that its nothing as they come with big expectations of seeing a waterfall....but the overall drive via NAGAR town is amazing, the best part is the local himachali food which Mr Mani Ram makes there. The falls was very near by to our hotel.. The total virgin land being surrounded by apple orchards. The falls can be a trekking route from our hotel or a trip by cycle.

Jana falls is an average place which has become commercialized creating unnecessary hype. The road to the falls is beautiful though. The falls are nothing great....just a thick stream falling from some distance. Local people have opened small eating joints serving traditional food but hygiene conditions are poor. Try Jogini falls instead...much better.

Its a short drive from Naggar, but a scenic one.One can see in the distance, the Beas (from a much higher altitude). Plus a good view of the adjoining mountains. If the weather is clear, it could be of interest to landscape photographers. However, the "Falls" as such are nothing much..
