Due the the dam constructed on satluj river, the natural hot water spring is now submerged under river water. But the near by hotel, "Hotel hot spring" has connected that hot spring direct into their pool. So if u want to have a bath in sulphar water, u can go to that hotel. They charges Rs 350 per person. Used to be hot springs near river satluj. Recently the river became a lake because of Kol dam hydel power project. The view has drastically improved. The still water lake looks too good at this place.

There are around 10 persons on that inflatable raft, and it started off around 1 p.m. in the afternoon. By then, the river had swollen considerably... More

about 45 km from Mashobra, 90 min drive one way. Road descends all the way down to Sutlej river. Spring water is really hot. There is water rafting available, and we tried the 12km option, 4 adults and 4 kids costed ~6K. Guide was very good, and negotiated the rapids beautifully. Water is cold, you will get wet, so plan...
