Enjoyed nice snow. Due to low oxygen, breating trouble may happen. Take a snow scooter and walk slowly. Dont run or hurry. Keep stomach full.

Beautiful place with snow capped mountains. The whole experience of feeling and playing snow was totally unforgettable. An advise for first time visitors- Be prepared with your snow clothes or else you will find it very difficult to cope up with the cold.

Rohtang pass is a very popular destination of Manali. Every one likes to go here. The drive to this place is really tough especially for those having hill sickness. Roads were in a terrible condition. We paid 1800 for 2 people on a snow scooter but it was not worth it. Even the skiing instructor we got was not good.... More

Yes,the meaning of Rohtang Pass is Valley of Death. Because in ancient time people from northern side of Rohtang Pass tried time & again to cross the pass to discover the other side. But due to extremely difficult climate most of them fell prey to the nature,so the name has derived. It is about 50 km from Manali on Manali-Leh Highway connecting...
