Missed Opportunity, because it had required infrastructure and great connectivity to become one of the best tourist spot in the world. No where I have seen a better connectivity of different malls via public transport. But in reality what e geet is bad traffic, half filled and half build building across some of the prominent 1-2 malls. Pros: Have good... More

it is called mall mile but really, it is a messy road with bad mess, bad road, bad traffic, cows, crowd, tea and paan stalls all over..it is not a walking street of anything but a road with few malls on both sides with a huge distance between them..not that malls are interconnected either..some malls are empty, some shady and... One can get almost anything of high quality & almost all well known Brands . There are multi product as well as speciality malls on this mile of Malls. Though most of the malls have basement parking , but parking on holidays & evenings is difficult to find.

It was a decent stretch till about 10 years ago. Then came the Delhi Metro and the convoluted (and supposedly temporary) traffic arrangements. Then came the light rail, a privately built public infrastructure project with no civic sense. And while in Gurgaon, temporary traffic arrangements have a tendency to become permanent. Parking is a nightmare. Public transport in terms of... More

Some of the better shopping in India - decent food court, plenty of good restaurant options - just plan on it being very dusty and crowded all around outside, and the taxi ride there will be an adventure in crazy, noisy, dusty driving. Lots of broken pavement and infrastructure, but once inside the mall you'll have a decent shopping experience... More

Too much heat, dust, dirt and grime all around, cannot walk when out of the road (broken pavements, with auto/7-seaters honking). Inside the malls is better, Sunday mornings are the time to go to avoid rush. All pubs and food courts are more or less similar.

A sad representation of Gurgaon and the belief that having malls that are replicas of each other makes for a Mall Mile. The fun of shopping in India is in the Sarojini Nagar, Lajpat Nagar and Chandni Chowk kind of shopping districts. The latter districts can be messy to walk in, troublesome to reach yet offer varieties that are brilliant... More

Shop till you drop. Mall mile is great if shopping is your passion. From high end outlets to bargain places, food courts, movie hub and electronics the mall mile has it all. Partings can be a pain on weekends so go early by 1030 am and walk or take a driver.
