Very poor access to the temple island - you are dropped off in above knee dirty water with very sticky soft soil. NOT recommended for old and unfit people. Just a hug vad tree with a temple holding a Kabir statue. If youve seen vad trees before - no need to make this trip.

Situated on bank of narmada river. Such a nice place for one day picnic. Cleaning should be maintain a bit there. I think it should be include in attractions of bharuch.

Kabirwad is not near Vadodara (80kms), on the contrary its near Bharuch (20kms) it can be considered for short picnic,you have to buy a two way ticket and cross the river Narmada to reach Kabirwad, the boat people overload the boats and its a harrowing experience, there is an Ashram with a Banyan tree which is among the biggest in... More

May be this was a beautiful spot once upon a time.Today, however,this is in shambles wi th no state govt. support or dist.Authority up-keeping.Carry your food & drinking water while visiting.Also look for good weather in case intending a river bath.

This is an old Banyan Tree situated on an Island in the Narmada River near Bharuch. There is an Ashram and temple on the Island. regular Boat service is available from Shuklatirth

Kabirvad is the most famous place of Bharuch dist. there are more and more baniyan tree grow with one rute. we are not found that were is the main ruth of all trees. Situated on the bank of Narmada river. To go to Kabir Vad, you need to take shared boat to cross the river.
