Though this place is far from vadodara, located in Bharuch area, it gives a peaceful at the same time group activities kind of place enjoyment. This is kind of a island in the narmada river. For family or group activities, this is a good option.

This place is not so recommended for solo or family trip. But for group outings this will be a good choice. This is located near Bharuch and so good choice for Vadodara people for outing in big group. here its a mix of holy place, garden, greenery, etc.

about an hours drive from Vadodara along the NH-8, Kabirwad can be accesed via a short boat trip across Narmada river's widest stetch between banks. There is a temple of Saint Kabir surrounded by a giant banyan which keeps growing and expanding as its branches strike root in ground.. swimiming along narmada banks can be risky for a novice and... Great spot to picnic indeed. Only the cleanliness needs to improve. Otherwise, a good ride across the Narmada on an old fashioned boat and calmness inside the banyan tree mesh on the island make for a good outing.

This has roots of more than 100s of years. If you are nature lover, this would give you lot of peace. There isn't much manmade and thankfully so. We did have a bath here and water was so clean. Good place if you love nature.
