Kabirvad is located on the banks of Narmada and people take boat from nearby small ghat to arrive at this place. Famous with locals... More

An hour stop, but not maintained well. Facilities are limited and cleanliness is missing. Needs more attention.

Very poor access to the temple island - you are dropped off in above knee dirty water with very sticky soft soil. NOT recommended for old and unfit people. Just a hug vad tree with a temple holding a Kabir statue. If youve seen vad trees before - no need to make this trip.

Kabirwad is not near Vadodara (80kms), on the contrary its near Bharuch (20kms) it can be considered for short picnic, you have to buy a two way ticket and cross the river Narmada to reach Kabirwad, the boat people overload the boats and its a harrowing experience, there is an Ashram with a Banyan tree which is among the biggest in... May be this was a beautiful spot once upon a time.Today, however, this is in shambles wi th no state govt. support or dist.Authority up-keeping.Carry your food & drinking water while visiting. Also look for good weather in case intending a river bath.
