Indeed this is the no. 1 attraction to visit while in Vadodara (Baroda). It is the palace of the last maharaja of Baroda and is indeed impressive, although poorly kept and partly abandoned. The ticketing office is on the opposite side of the road where all the administrative buildings and quarters are located. Tickets are quite expensive considering what are... More

Not too great but at a same time not too bad. It cost Rs.170/person ( it's too mach). One thing worth visiting is "Shastragar" - The armory room.

Tickets should have been priced below Rs.30 as the area inside the palace open to public is very small. The visit did not take more than 45 minutes. Though the ground situated beside the palace is beautiful and it can be accessed for free.

Beautiful palace with proper guide to explain about the palace. The Weapons section, The Hall where they used to gather (keep functions). Photo graphy inside is not allowed but from outside it is allowed. Ticket cost is little high.

We came here on the advice of friends and I am so glad we did! It was a serene oasis after the chaos and congestion of the streets outside the palace gate. The entry price included the headset with all the information. Outside it was very hot, but inside the palace was cool and fresh breeze. The gift shop had... More

Hi, We went to the palace in July month. We went around afternoon 12 pm and it was too hot actually. But once we reached the Palace we got the tickets which is quiet costly. They will give you one headset to listen to the history of that palace and go around the palace in an order. The views outside... More
