A very modern temple in the sense that it is more like a palace.Spacious grounds.Tight security as there has been an attack some years earlier. Can take children or adults who do not want to view the temple itself. They can roam around the compund.Very clean and well maintained

as an attraction, after visiting delhi's akshardham, this was just average. The main attraction of both akshardham is the water and laser show in evening and this one was like 20% of what Delhi's akshardham has to offer. I would recommend visiting it but if you have to chose, rather go for Delhi one.

Akshardham is a huge temple completely made of pink sandstone and the idol of Swaminarayan made in gold. The carvings inside the temple are intricate and outstanding. Also the atmosphere inside is very peaceful and serene. There is a museum inside the temple as well which has some beautiful artifacts from the good olden days. Its closed on Mondays, so... More

Marvelous structure in Gandhinagar, beautiful architure. Best attraction is the Laser, Water, colour show called Sat Chit Anand which is shown right after sunset. Do take a picture of yourself while at the temple. The place has multi cuisine food court. Mobiles are not allowed inside the temple premises.

Beautiful temple. Kids and younger can have fun at their amusement park. The laser show is something which should not be missed.
