Beautiful, magnificent !! It is definitely worth a visit. I am not a Hindu, but this temple is definitely worth a visit. You see it from distance and it becomes more impressive and beautiful the closer you get. Be aware, no cameras or cell phone allowed( and do not try to smuggle it in) - you shall enjoy the temple... Visited this place in January 2015 when I went to Gandhinagar to attend a National Conference. The whole experience was excellent. The place offers a package about the glimpses of the life of Swaminarayan. Right use of audio-visual to keep your interest intact. Need 3 hours to enjoy the life story of Swaminarayan. Credit to the management. A must visit.

Not my favourite destination. Due to its modern build it feels clinical. Quite a performance with security having to deposit your phone in one area and handbag in another. Quite busy in particular the laser/water show at the end, which was ok. There is also a water park too. The whole religious sell with the film did not appeal to... More

This temple is within walking distance from the subway/metro station, dont be fool by the tuk-tuks. It is an amazing place, all the carvings inside and out are spectacular! Loved the place so much. There is food court with traditional Indian food & drinks. The only downside is that no cameras or cell phones are allowed. You have to leave... More

too many words rather go and see that the sat chid ananda mythical wate rbased show well crafted gardens in temple and the entertainment park and the eateries all make this place resemble the mini "sentosa" of singapore
