The ambience of the majestic temple is awesome.Lush green sprawling lawns. The temple structure is majestic.This temple belongs to the Swaminarayan sect of Hinduism. They are pure vegetarians. The exhibition inside is among others a diatribe against non vegetarianism. It offends those who are non vegetarians.The light and sound show is a must watch.

We arrived at this place about an hour before sunset expecting a temple with an accompanying water show. Instead, we came to what was most comparable to an amusement park. Entrance is free. Must must watch the heritage show.. Trust me, kids to elders, all would really like and enjoy the show... the glorious history, heritage, puppet shows, the music all were awesome.. The Temple also has amusement park which the Kids would enjoy..

This Temple is in Gandhinagar- the Capital of Gujarat and some 20+ KMs away from Ahmadabad city. The Temple gives you a wonderful experience in several ways and indeed my privilege to share my experience. Although a religious place, this place spread over acres may be applauded for 1. good housekeeping and cleanliness 2. Children activities, 3. Safety measures taken and their marvelous laser show which is among top laser shows of the world. Must visit.

My husband and I went to this place on our trip to the golden triangle (Delhi, Agra, Jaipur), I should say this was one of the best attractions on our trip.
