A Must visit Place. Cool and Calm. In the temple premises, there is plenty of other activities for kids and even for parents.

Thsi Akshar dhaam temple is the first one and most famous one. Visit here to see origin and complete details of Swaminarayan bhagwaan of Akshar dhaam temple. I came to know that Bhagwaan Swaminarayan was originally from Uttar Pradesh. Rides are available for children. Please check the opening and closing timings of Temple before plan.

Conclusion: A unique melding of religious, historic and entertainment venues. Worth going to if you’re in the Ahmedabad/Gandginagar area of Gujarat State. Visited this religious temple and entertainment venue in early February 2016. It’s about 15 miles or 24 kilometers NNE of Ahmedabad in Gujarat’s capital city of Gandginagar. Open every day except Monday when it’s closed. No entry fee,... More

It is worth visiting this place. These are other Akshardham temples in other cities, but it has its own charm. Laser show is fantastic. Food is also good with very reasonable rates. Everything is very well organised.

It is a very beautiful temple and the show after that is very fun to watch for every age group. Kids will especially enjoy a lot. The fountain show is one of a kind. Its like watching a movie projected on fountain.

This temple is part of the swaminarayan sect who have created very beautiful temples all over the world. This is a very nice and clean temple and the effort put in by the people to maintain it shows.
