Its a very good example of dead river to life. Not only this project made a tourist attraction but also bring natural benefits to city of ahmedabad. The vast waste land now can be use for walking. Gardens tree plantation. Making the city temperature down. Under water level of city to come up. Besides this when this project will fully... More

My cousins arrived from other state and they wanted some good place to walk and have fun. Our family opted for this riverfront. My cousins admired the natural beauty of the place but did not really like the manner in which most of the guys commented on various strolling families.

What a grand idea! It's the beginnings if making a wonderful riverside scape. A great place to stroll, the playgrounds were clean and well maintained. The adult walking spaces were clean and encouraged all to take in the view and relax. Very well done!

In the past 6 months there are lot of changes happening on the River front project in Ahmedabad. The Banks and Gardens are very near completion, boating has started at many points, full of water now. Approached to some of the spots is still under construction. Evenings are very pleasant on this River front. You can beat the heat during... More

Travelling around Ahmedabad one is bound to cross the bridge over the river several times a day. It is a pretty and calming sight with a glimpse of Sabarmati Ashram across its banks. In the evening the broad footpaths on the bridge has families enjoying the view and the cool breeze. It is a place for family outing for the... More

The Sabarmati riverfront, for Ahmedabad residents, is a welcomed respite of clean walkways and greenery gifted by the furtile mind of Shree Narendra Modi, then than CM of Gujarat and now PM of India. You can see young teenagers safely venture out with their friends in the evening to enjoy the pleasant views of the river. Its a pleasant view... More

Sabarmati river front is the best place for the people to have a walk/jog in the early morning or in the evening. There are some water activities like speed boat ride or water scooter which are opened in winters and monsoon season.. The garden at Subash bridge is a must visited with some children activities inside and fountain.
