We have visited this place 2-3 times. Nice huge lake. Good fountain. No boating allowed at present. Small amusement park in one corner. People walk-run on a daily basis. Usually full of crowd all the time on prime time. You will certainly find many many options all around the lake for Nasta-Khani Pini-Snacks-Dinner-Food Laris..

A pictorial lake in a lustrous environment is a joyful visa and Vastrapur lake in the western part of Ahmedabad is one of such alluring location. Encircled by all around greenery vastrapur lake is a must see spectacle in the city. Green lawns in the surrounding happen to be the most popular podium of various cultural events. A garden with elaborate stonework is an added attraction here.
Water lovers can go for boating since, and the less adventurous can embark on a nice promenade through the nice pathway that rounds the lake. The lake looks so appealing at times when it is fed with the waters from the Narmada river. Let your children loose in the lush environ of the Vastrapura lake and they will have enough to keep themselves engaged in the adjoining children’s park.

The entrance to this Lake stinks badly as people stop-by to pee outside the walls of this place. The water level is low and the place is not maintained properly.

This place is good, Heart of West Ahmedabad. And Alpha mall nearer to this place makes it cherry on the top. Good place to getting relax yourself. But this place is always full of couples. So, if you're with family, then beware. Otherwise nice place to hang out.

i always go to visit the lake, as there you will find many peoples jogging at morning and evening, this lake is for every age peoples. you can find rides for kids inside & outside the lake, also small food stalls are present to have some chatpata experience.

Location - Vastrapur lake is a center point east Ahmedabad. It connects to IIM road, Gurukul road, Judges Bunglow road and other key locations.

Local authorities have put in efforts to clean this lake. However it should not be on 'Must Visit' list. There are several good restaurants near by and hence just drive past lake is good enough.

Vastrapur is a clean little man made lake with a garden around it. Very good for a morning/evening walk for residents around it. Also there are lots of restaurants aroung it (Grainizza is nice, Havmor is versatile). the alpha mall at vastrapur is one of its kind. a nice place i ahem..all brands at one go. the only place ahem which was much needed. and above all the 5d show. i got a chance to see sos show and that was amazing, worthfull.

The lake is filthy filled with garbage. The government has tried to clean it but because of people, it comes back to square one. plus it is just next to alpha-one mall
