One can hear the roar of the water much before one gets there, and the spray from the falls is seen from afar. We had gone in... More

Try to match it with full moon day or at least near to that so you could see as well hear the gigantic waterfall . Remember to take every thing you might need to stay over night . There isnt a thing around where you can buy , though if the rush is less, you could expect a place to... More

Words fall short to describe the beauty of Dudhsagar water falls. Dudhsagar is located at the borders of Goa and Karnataka. First task is reaching to Dudhsagar, which is not straight forward. We caught Goa Express from Pune to expecting to reach Kulem and were prepared to trek for 10 KMs via railway tracks from Kulem to Dudhsagar, but luckily... More

Dudhsagar falls is 14 km from CastleRock station which is in Karnataka, and is generally the starting point. You can choose to board a cargo train engine, people are used to tourists here and generally call you to accompany them. Or you can do what we did. We trekked from CastleRock to Dudhsagar Falls. The trek is mostly easy, following... More
