We had been to the falls on 27/Sep/15. We hopped into a train from Kulem to Castle Rock and back. It was a great memorable weekend trip. That weekend, trekking and jeep service were banned by forest officials.

We travelled from Palolem by car. We then got our safety jackets and then onto a jeep. It is a rough road and a lot of bumps... But well worth it when you get off and walk a short distance through the forest to the falls. The water was surprisingly cold so although many did swim we just enjoyed looking... More

Such a beautiful waterfall but the whole issue is to reach out the location. You need to either hire a cab or take the on-time public transport to reach out the location. Once you reach it has a marvelous natural beauty to be shown.

The size of the falls is difficult to imagine until one sees it person. infact it is pretty difficult to see the falls in its entirety and the upper part of the falls is reachable only by train. There are not much tourist facilities provided by govt as railways actively discourage people from using the rail track trek to reach... More

We were not aware that visiting via Railway was banned due to some looting incident few weeks back. These are about 14 kms away from Colem, which is off the... More

We went trekking with a group of trekkers, at 04:00 AM - reached castle rock station, everyone got ready with their trek suits and torches on.From here starts our countdown of tunnels from 01 to 10, with a view of mountains, boundless valley and dense forests. 04:30 AM – The train stopped at Dudhsagar station for 60 seconds and we... it is around 50km far from main Goa. If you want to ride then take a bike/scooter or you can take a cab also. But then Cab has to wait a lot of time. From one point you have to go in the licensed BOLERO. per person amount is 600(Nov 2014). Drive is a good one through the forest and... More
