Possibly the best part of the fort is the view from there and few original cannons. Fort is not well kept and i hope the swach bharat campaign comes here soon.

Diu fort is an expansive structure situated on the coast of this island. It gives magnificent view of the sea. Several canons are there on the top of the fort which reminds the strategic importance of this fort during Portuguese rule.

Though not very well kept but the magnificent structure of this fort with a dry moat is good enough to spend a few of your hours here. One needs a lot of imagination to really enjoy this place. Plus the light house can also be accessed which is another distinctive experience! I had read a bit about its history before... More

One of the few landmarks of Diu. Interesting part of Portuguese history, still very well conserved and with a nice view over the sea. Not to miss visiting if you are in Diu.
