I am fascinated by this structure. The way this fort was planned and executed, this one is truely a wonder of India, built by the portuguese.

Nice place to visit on your vacation trip to Diu. Not to be missed. Make sure to carry your caps and headgear as it gets really hot on a sunny day

Diu fort is well maintained and is definitely worth a visit. You would need at least 2 hours to walk around the fort and take a good look at the huge canons that dot the fort. A huge bell that greets at the entrance and another one hidden away in a corner should not be missed

This was a Portuguese fort that was strategically built. The fort is nice but it is very poorly maintained. There was no guide and no entry fee. Part of Fort is now being used as jail even. Remaining parts are very interesting. This is very big place and needs 4-5 hours to walk through the history.

We went to see this amazing fort in the evening running thinking it will close down by 5pm. We were just in time to be able to see the Fort. However, what we got to see was highly interesting. At the entrance there was a big wall and a long walkway overlooking Arabian Sea. It made me think what scenic... More

Fort is big, lots of photo ops, but gets a bit boring after some time, better take a bottle of water if you are going in the afternoon times, it gets really hot
