This is the second time I have been to this zoo. For a small town zoo it is terrific and should have a lot more support from the community and the City of Alamogordo. I got to talk to the City Manager while i was there and a couple of the workers. i let them know they were doing good!... More

I felt sorry for the animals that must live in the small cages. However, there are positives-- there is a nice playground for children and the grounds of the Zoo are clean.

This is my favorite zoo in the world. I bug my husband constantly to visit again. It's completely charming and delightful.

I'm not a huge fan of zoos. The animals here are injured and either recuperating or not able to get better. It's nice they have a place to be where they are safe. Little kids will definitely enjoy this zoo, and it's easy to walk around.

This was a fun zoo to visit. There were lots of animals I had never seen before in a zoo. It was big enough to see lots of animals, but not so big to be overwhelming.

We visited the zoo last week while vacationing in Ruidoso. We had a 1 1/2 year old with us so we were looking for a few fun things to do for him. The weather was perfect and most of the animals were out. We enjoyed spending an hour or more walking around the zoo! Definitely a must for people traveling... More

I love to visit small town zoos and this one did not disappoint. It was very small and there were mostly birds. However, bald eagles, an alligator, lemurs and black swans made it a fun place to spend an hour. Plus it is only $2.50 for adults.

This park is nice and quiet. It is located next to the zoo and offers a fence in area away from the adjacent road. Nice park.

Decided to stop at the zoo on our way home to El Paso. Zoo opens at 9 and we arrived at 9:30. The zoo was open but no one there to take our entrance fee, so we had to use their "honor system" of pay which means you pay the fee by depositing $$ into an envelope. This is good... More
