This needs a day for itself if you're interested in roses. Summer is not the best time to see it in full bloom, but it must be great in cooler conditions and again worth the time if the interest is in flowers, bird life and people.

This is a beautiful garden to spend your time. Nice to see different species of roses and varieties. Although at the time we went, they weren't in full bloom. But apart from roses, they have fountains, walk ways, children play areas.... Its beautiful to have this luxury in middle of city. People like us who are from Mumbai, would compare... More

If you are a rose enthusiast, check it out. Otherwise it's not really worth going out of your way to see. To me it just seemed like a large park. It wasn't too crowded which was nice, but it's not terribly exciting if you have limited time.

his garden is just a 5 minute walk from the museum. It is a large garden with some rose plants here and there. This garden also has two gates. For more details on Chandigarh, visit this blog : http://ultracoolsolitarywanderer.blogspot.in/2014/05/chandigarh-2-3-days.html

We visited this garden in January. Most of the roses had bloomed by then. It is fun just walking in the garden. It is very well maintained. However the staff sitting outside the restroom facilities charge you to use the service. Even though it's not a big amount, it leaves a bad taste in your mouth.
