Boat rides, Kids rides, huge trampolines, mechanic bull rides, camel rides, horse rides and getting your face sketched by a quick but impressive artist. These were only a small list of things all done in and around the Sukhna Lake. The family had a BLAST! Do hope it stays like this and that the attractions keep running.

take the boat ride, or do a morning walk...Sukhna will give u the peace ur looking for in ur daily life. Whilst nothing much to eat there (except for a regular snack joint), i feel its good not to have too many of the food things at the late..let the nature command the beauty the lake deserves...must visit

Cool breeze in summer time and the charm of boating! Wow -its fantastic. Crowd of the town always there in evenings to have fun. An ideal place for walkers - a place full of oxygen giving energy to all who visit. Rejuneveates the body after having a round of the lake. Though artificial - but still a place worth visiting.

Sukhna is a man made lake created around the time of Chandigarh city creation. Walking and jogging tracks through manicured environs make it indeed spectacular. Many row the waters while others bask in the sunshine.

Everyone was having a wonderful time by the lake on the evening we visited. The promenade overlooking the lake is a really nice place to stroll and relax.

Sukhna Lake in Chandigarh, is a reservoir at the foothills of the Himalayas, the Shivalik hills. This 3 km² rainfed lake was created in 1958. The evenings see Sukhna again coming alive with tourists, and families thronging the promenade, the Chef Lakeview, CITCO's fast food joint, shops and of course the jetties for a boat ride.
