In addition... More

Its about 12 km from Vizag town along the sea road and adjacent to the Rishikonda beach. Its a natural hillock which was transformed into a well maintained tourist destination. You may reach the hill top either by ropeway (safe, closed cabin type) or by road (toll tax of rs 50/-). We choose the later. There is toy train facility... More

Kailasa Giri is actually part of the Kailasa Giri park. The park has separate listing. I feel both can be merged. The place is neat and clean and well maintained. It overlooks the sea and view is simply a treat to eyes. Gentle breeze has a soothing effect.

The entire area and the surrounding mountains and natural vegetation is a treat to the eyes of the visitors. I would like to come here once again during November or December and enjoy the salubrious climate.

Kailasa Giri is a beautiful hill station of the destination offering beautiful view of the sea. The place is surrounded by Rushikonda Beach and Ramakrishna Beach on its left and hillock on its right. The name of the hill is derived from the word Kailasa, which means abode of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati. The main attraction of the place... More

Kailasa Giri is a prominent attraction on top of a hill that has been designed keeping the tourist in mind. The only rope way in Visakhapatnam to this location is a must try at least once. Otherwise, you can drive all the way up till the top of the hill. They have a toy train on top which again is... More
