The Kailasa giri is very well modelled, with a very big idol of Lord Shiva and Parvathi. The train journey which takes you around the hills is a must. You will see the entire city of Vizag, the beautiful beaches and bountiful nature. You also have to take the lift to go up and have a view of the city... More

I visited it in the early hours of the morning. It is a super place long stretch of beach but beware the waters are not as timid as you think. Otherwise it is scenic and a lovely place to visit.

The main attraction is the temple. It also has great views of the city, access is good too. However, most of the time, it is very crowded and it's hard to sit comfortably to enjoy the views. Many times there are lots of people blocking your view.
