Built in 1996 by the Eastern Naval Command to commemorate the role of Indian Navy in the 1971 War and to pay homage to all Indian war martyrs of 1971 this pyramid like structure rekindles the flames of love for the motherland among all the people visiting it. In the evening, bright yellow lights enhance the aestheticism of this monument.

This is a monument to commemorate the Victory of Indian Navy in the Indian - Pakistan War in 1971. Just has a Tank, a missile and an aircraft on display. If one chooses to visit this place, do not miss out on visiting Kursura, the submarine museum opposite to this.

There is nothing much to see related to it but is right on the beach road and has a submarine museum opposite to it.

Good place for a photo op, especially in a group, if you are walking along the beach. Besides there are plenty of vendors and good street food around.

I didn't find much of interest at the memorial but the location itself on the beach was packed with people enjoying an Indian evening.

To see the war memorial, all you have to do is go on the beach road. The memorial has more value as a sense of pride in India's victory over Pakistan in 1971, rather than a tourist monument. Seeing a picture is more than enough.
