This is great view point within city limit. If you love walking, you can use morning time of 6 to 8 am when part of road is closed for traffic.

The bus stops at the Light house bus stop. Spend five minutes here envying the wonderful placement of the Navy Residential Colony. I mean, what could beat having a house on top of a hill that has a great view of the hill as well? The lighthouse itself is the only visit-able spot on the hill and will only from... More

The journey is tedious, and this place is not developed for tourists. There is only a single staircase which is used for both going up and down. At times it can be claustrophobic. However, view from the top of the lighthouse is quite awesome.

Requires atleast 3-4 hours to visit this place. Located at a distance of 20-25 Kms from Vizag city, is a popular picnic spot and famous tourist destination. A light house , temples, masjid and a church can be visited. Spectacular view of Bay of Bengal can be witnessed. Visiting hours of the light house is 3 PM to 5 PM.

**light house is open only from 3pm to 5pm for public** It is 45mins to 1 hour drive from Visakhapatnam railway station. This place is in the "not so famous" attractions in Visakhapatnam. But it is worth the trip. The lighthouse has an antique look. You get to climb all the way up to the light house. The stairs are... More

This is a hill protruding into the sea resembling a dolphin's nose. The drive in open top jeep was nice because of non-stop breeze and the view of the city and harbour is fascinating. Amazing how nature has created a shape which resembles a well known living creature.
