The drive to this place had some amazing views over the port and vizag city. Road up the mountain wasn't good, but the journey was more than worth it. The light house has a ticket of just 10rs and is open from 3:30 to 5:30. The blue waters of bay of Bengal from the top of the light hoyse were... More

Drawn by the visual beauty decided to visit Dolphins Nose but to my utter regret was stopped by a security guard who clarified that it is off limits for civilians as the Navy has constructed quarters on the hill. It is open to only Naval personnel. Dejected took a round of the hill to some distance and got to see... More

A bit crowded nowadays, but a must see for the travelers visiting vizag. Good food joints could be found nearby.

The breathtaking view of Yarada Beach on one side and the port on the other, with the wind on one's face and greenery in abundance. Stay on till later on a clear evening if you are a keen star gazer. Roads are in bad condition and the ride will be bumpy. If in a hired vehicle, keep it waiting as... More

I was told that this spectacular creation of nature is what makes the port have a natural wall for the water inlet and for the ships to dock. Spectacular view. It was raining and it looked more amazing.
