Must to visit. Learn about the immensely strenuous life of Submariners. Kids love the engineering Knowledgeable and patient staff. Neat and well maintained. Disliked the constant banging due to repair and maintenance work. Across the beach road near Ambica sea green hotel

A Rs 40 ticket and you are inside the submarine which looks massive from outside. Air conditioned, we get to understand the amazing details of a submarine and our respect for our soldiers increases. If you are tall take care not to knock your head. Even the cabins seem small and it appears working in a submarine means many inconveniences.... More

Was wonderstruck to see the economic use of space, the complexity of the machinery and learnt how a submarine works. Seeing the torpedos was a kick in itself!Since childhood I have been fascinated by submarines after reading "Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea"... finally got to... More

Even though there is a entry fee here, The Submarine museum is really informative.. this is a must visit place in vizag, but you cannot take photos inside the museum. The staff explained each and everything inside the museum very well.

I had visited Vizag about 8 yrs ago, and the only day I was able to go visit the submarine, it was closed for maintenance work. I returned to my hometown, disappointed. However, in this trip, a visit to the INS Kursura was planned, and I made sure to be in the first batch of groups that we were going... More

Great place but the staff is not hospitable at all buy tickets for Camera and video camera go towards the evening when the souvenir shop is open. Its a different experience altogether in the same road as you go towards Kalishgir you will find the original remains of this submarine do see them as well it has the periscope intact

There is a lot that VUDA could do about the Varuna beach and the cleanliness.Submarine Museum could be better marketed for tourism with interactive 3D simulated shows on submarines.
