The entire visit is inside a real submarine that served Indian Navy. You actually walk inside the submarine with 7 compartments to view the various sections of the submarine. The submarine displays how our soldiers operate inside it and what kind of lifestyle do that inside the metal tube. There is a guide who takes a group of people inside... More

The INS KURSURA is right on the Beach and easily accessible. It was an operational submarine of the Indian Navy fleet which was then beached and converted into a museum open to the public for a fee. Worth a visit if you want to know more about life in a submarine.

It is not everyday that one gets to be inside an old submarine. It is certainly very interesting and a good learning for one and all. Must visit.

We didnt find it extraordinary..yes you do get to see the inside of a submarine .. but that's it.. the guides inside do not add much to what you can see..a very small tour.. you need a seperate ticket for clicking snaps.. had read a lot about the place.. but the experience was nowhere close to extraordinary. although if you... Definitely a good experience - you don't get a chance to go inside a submarine everyday. This is one of the oldest Submarines that India bought from Russia. The inside of the submarine gives a vivid idea about how difficult the life in a submarine could be. It is particularly exciting to see the torpedos.

Must visit! Staff is strict to ensure you buy camera ticket even with mobile phone. But, great experience to see this machine. Claimed to be first submarine on display in south Asia.
