It is a real submarine made into a museum. It was adventurous to walk through it. There is a guided tour arranged by the tourism department. It is right on the beach and you can just slip in to have a view during your evening stroll.

The submarine museum is well maintained, fully airconditioned and the guide service is good. It is a boon to the upcoming student community and can learn more and more in this segment.

had the privilege to see the only submarine museum in India. I recommend everyone who visit Vizag to visit this museum. The life in submarine is very nicely depicted in it with the mannequins. Ex servicemen brief you about the history and functioning of the submarine. I has a huge structure and there is a board which mention its details.There... More

This is a must visit museum which showcases the tough life on board a submarine. Well designed and makes it easy for a visitor to realise the kind of life a Naval submariner has to endure to make life safe for rest of us. Kudos to the Navy

We went inside the INS submarine museum. It is one-of-its kind and a must visit place. Once gets to see what are the constituents of a submarine-and different rooms where the crew sleep/control rooms/kitchen etc. The officials themselves will be tourist guides and describe different chambers/cabins. Being located close to RK beach (less than half a kilometer) and easily accessible... More

A Kalavari class submarine. Which is India's 4th submarine. Played a key role in 1971 war. After her decommission turned into a museum at RK Beach. In which tourist can feel the inside of a real submarine. The entry charges around 30 rupees per round.
