Borra caves are a fascinating sight to behold and one must visit them. For senior citizens or others with limited physical capacity, the caves cannot be seen in full, but a visit should not be compromised. Also savor the fish served in different eateries before the cave. The local sell spices and condiments which one should buy. Check out the... More

The caves are very interesting, also the ceiling of the caves has amazing light in many places. There are not many steps for the first main cave so anyone can get as far as that. To explore the rest you need a flashlight. There are a lot of monkeys on the way.

the road to Borra caves is equally thrilling as the place itself. Its a day trip and something different compared to the regular places people go. I enjoyed my ride to the caves & back

Worth a visit to these caves. Entry price was steep. Access road from the railway station to the main road was horrible. keep a hold of all your belongings as you may lose the bags or cameras inside the cave as it is dark. but do visit, its worth it.

I went to Araku Valley and visited the Borra Caves last year with my family during my trip to Vizag. The Borra Caves or 'Borraguhalu'....as it is called by local people, is a marvel of nature. The extensive deposition of stalactites and stalagmites are worth seeing indeed. There are many figures inside the cave that have been naturally formed by... More

It is just a awesome place to visit. Travelled in the train from vishakapatanam station to borrow guhalu and then took a taxi to reach the cave. Had lunch. Lunch was good near the caves in the small food joints. Cave was also awesome where had the most breathtaking view of the stalactites and stalagmites.

The Borra Caves seem to be a very popular tourist attraction. The crowd consists mostly of locals and bengalis. There is a narrow causeway that has to be crossed, before getting to the caves. It is so narrow that only one lane of vehicles can use it at a time. We were held up at this point due to a... More

If you are in Vizag, then dont miss this attraction. It is around 90 KMS from Vizag town, which should take around 2.5 hours to drive down, but is worth visiting, the roads are also good. If you happen to visit this place during Dec & Jan, you can even visit places where Jaggery is manufactured in small scale industries... More
