If you have not been there, your Vizag tour shall remain incomplete! In other words Borra caves (Borra in Odiya means Holes) is the Highlight of the Vizag tour. You must come here by train departing from Vizag station. Vizag-Kirandale passanger starts from Vizag at 6:50 AM and reaches Borra around 10:00 AM. You may get down there if you... More

This is my third Lime Stone cave. First two I visited in Australia (Janolen Caves and One in Tasmania forgeting name). Bora cave is much larger and richer in that context. This is first cave where variety of rocks I got to see. I would request visitors to please don't touch walls and don't write on rocks. It spoils the... More

The entire cave is excellent. There is nothing to dislike here. The entire caves are worth visiting and visiting once again.

It is a unique place. I mean caves are rare to explore now a days. It is a must visit place at least once in a life time. you need around 2.5 hours to explore it including time for photography.

You will need good 2 hours to go around the place. It was dark with very little illumination when we visited the place - but I was told it is generally better in peak season. Natural rock formations make for a pleasant surprise - do take a guide along. Be prepared to sweat out as it requires effort to walk... More

If you are in Visakhapatnam and have time, then try and pay a visit to this attraction. It is on the way to Arakku Valley which is a hill station near Visakhapatnam so in case you are visiting there, you can pay a visit here too. It is basically a natural lime stone cave that was discovered by the British... More

I thoroughly enjoyed the visit to Borra Caves. It will take ~2-2.5 hours to tour the entire place. It is cold and dark inside the caves. Taking a tour guide is highly recommended in the place, and our guide showed us different images of gods and other naturally formed images etc. Looks like a natural wonder; really amazing. The ground... More

The caves are close to Vizag and seeing them is a great experience. Walking down the caves and back up requires some amount of effort though. Going deep inside, lights have been aesthetically placed to improve the visual appeal
