This is waste of time if you will visit Araku except rainy season. I went in January it was too hot in the day and there were no such good points to visit.

More than the place itself, we loved the route. We couldnt take the train journey which is supposed to be wonderful, however even the road trip was fairly interesring with meandering hills. Dont miss the bamboo chicken.

I stayed in araku valley for 1 and a half day.. It is a quiet beautiful place to relax.. Their are few places to go like museum, coffee garden, highest point and most beautiful and amazing borra caves. It was amazing.

After taking the trouble to travel about 120 kms from Vizag, what we found was not at all pleasing to the eyes. Ill maintained and unclean town.Very limited places for eating.(We were refused food/coffee/snacks any thing in the restaurants run by the only two APSTC resorts. Very disappointing. Not a great place to enjoy scenic beauty either.

Araku valley has been hyped to be a must visit place for everyone visiting vizag. However, the place and view are just ordinary. If you are going by train, the view is said to be amazing. As train tickets were not available we took a car. The only place worth visiting around araku is the Borra caves. Apart from that,... More
