We spent a weekend in Araku Valley prior to our return to England after 5 weeks in India. We travelled on the train from Vizag (to be recommended) and enjoyed the tremendous views on the journey. There is much to see such as the waterfall and the Bora Bora Caves but overall there are beautiful views wherever you look. We... More

Araku Valley is not so renowned tourist destination but if you want a few days break out of the busy city life then here is the perfect place with great cuisine to be offered by locals. You can get a reservation on any tree house hotels on hills and can sit back and enjoy the peaceful nature with a brew... More

If you are in the mood for a quick, low-budget weekend getaway from Hyderabad, then Araku valley is a lovely option. It offers a peaceful rustic atmosphere and a chance to watch the local tribals in action. The paddy fields, coffee plantations and the primitive woods give you the experience of a beautiful world, untouched by modernization. There are many... More

Very green and pleasant place. The journey by train from Vizag to Araku Valley also must not be missed to get the total pleasure of this awesome place. Great views to explore and relax. The APTDC stay at Haritha resorts is also quite fine to stay and relax.

Looks over commercialising. Place should have been better organised so that the natural beauty is preserved. The roads leading to the place should have sign boards for direction.
