Did not get Resort Package due to holiday rush, so decided to travel on our own to Arku and Bora Caves. Visit to Arku was a waste and nothing much to see. Tribal Dance and valley view is available if are staying in a good resort. Coffee plantation, Botinical garden and View point are an average attractions if one has... More

Araku is a nice quaint hill station not yet commercially ravaged like Ooty. Less crowded and still plenty of greenery around. We stayed at Haritha. The Chaparai water stream is a nice place to visit. Tribal museum is good also. A good retreat for the family away from the city buzz.

Drive to and through Araku during the first rains of the season. Parched land, grey skies and rain all day. It was a once in a lifetime bike ride from Vizag to Chattisgarh through Araku Valley. A great weekend visit from Vizag. Would love to go again in the Summer. Folks in the region are fabulous. People offered to put... More

Visiting the hills during monsoons is always exciting. Greenery everywhere which soothes your eyes. enjoyed the ride to the hills for some fresh air. Do stop by at any local coffee plantation to get some fresh coffee powder and taste coffee as well. On our way back from araku valley, we encountered thick fog which added to the fun. It... More

It's the trip to Araku Valley from Vizag that's worthwhile that the valley itself. The valley has a Tribal Museum which gives you some information about the tribals in those areas. Not to be offensive, but based on what museum portrayed, the life of tribal is similar to those living in villages in any part of India barring a ritual... More
